DESIGN FOR A HINGE MEMBER.
To (0Z6 whom it may concern:
Be it known that I,WILLIAM W, HUELSTER, a itizen of the United States, residing at Grand Rapids, in the county of Kent and State of Michigan, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Hinge Member, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a perspective of a hinge member for file-boxes, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is a plan view of the same.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a flat plate having one end A substantially parallelogram in form and the other end B a prolongation of the said plate, having a segmental outline at one side and the other side prolonged substantially in the line of the edge of the first-named portion of the plate. The portion A of the plate has the upper corner at one end rounded and is enlarged and prolonged at the other end, the lower outline of the portion A being extended in a right line and having a slight set-01f or shoulder D at a distance from the end of the plate correspondingto the axis of the segmental outline of the extension 13. Near the extreme end of the plate is a portion 0', partially detached and turned outward at right angles to the said plate.

The design for a hinge member, as herein shown and described.
