CHARLES F. MEILINK, OF TOLEDO, OIIIO.
DESIGN FOR A TUBE-BUSHING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,104, dated May 25, 1897.
Application filed August 26, 1396. Serial No. 604,030. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLES F. MEILINK, of Toledo, county of Lucas, and State of Ohio, have invented a certain new and original Design for a Tube-Bushing; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the figures of reference marked thereon, which form part of this specification.
My invention relates to a design for tubebushing, having more particular reference to a bushing-section, as an article of manufacture, for securing flat sections of metal into tubular sections.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of one side of the bushing. Fig. 2 is a perspective view in illustration of the opposite side of the bushing. Fig. 3 is a side elevation. Fig. 4 is an end elevation of the bushing, these several views being deemed necessary to fully illustrate my design.
The leading features of my design consist substantially of a shell or body segmental in cross-seetion and closed at one end by a spherical head which is of a larger diameter than the body, forming an olfset between the body and the head.
1 designates the shell or body, which is segmental in cross-section, closed at one end by the spherical head 2, which is of greater diameter in cross-section than the diameter of the shell or body, which provides an offset 3 between the shell or body and the head, the edge of the sides of the shell or body and the head terminating in the same plane.
hat I claim is The design for a tube-bushing substantially herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my own I aflix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
CHARLES F. MEILINK. \Vitnesses:
