DESIGN FOR A TUBE-BUSHING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,105, dated May 25, 1897. Application filed August 26, 1896. Serial No. 604,031. Term of patent 3% years.
To alt whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, CHARLES F. MEILINK, of Toledo, county of Lucas, and State of Ohio, have invented a certain new and original Design for a Tube-Bushing; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the figures of reference marked thereon, which form part of this specification.
My invention relates to a design for tubebushing, and has especial reference to a fitting produced as an article of manufacture and employed to connect the tubing to the handle-bar socket, &c.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of the fitting. Fig. 2 is a like view of the reverse side, and Fig. 3 is a side elevation, these several Views being deemed necessary to fully illustrate my design.
The leading feature of my design consists in a body comprising a shell semicircular in cross-section and ahead semicircular in crosssection, the longitudinal axis of the shell and the longitudinal axis of the head being at an oblique angle to each other, the diameter of the head being greater than the diameter of the body, and the inner edge of the shell and the head being in the same plane.
1 designates the body, comprising the shell, semicircular in cross-section, and 2 designates the head, semicircular in cross-section, arranged at an angle to the body and of greater diameter than the same.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for a tube-bushing substantially herein shown and described.
