DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,127, dated August 2, 1898. Application filed July 6, 1898. Serial No. 685,286. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ALEXANDER BARBIE, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Bottle, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, in which- Figure 1 is a side elevation; Fig. 2, an end elevation, and Fig. 3 a section at a mof Fig. 1.
The leading features of my design for a bottle consist of the elongated body of flattened hexagon shape in cross-section, with tapering sides rounded at the respective ends, the straight hexagonal base and hexagonal shoulders, and a flaring base to the neck. The elongated body A is sectionally a flattened hexagon, the respective faces a of the hexagon being approximately fiat. The faces (1. and the corners or angles are tapering toward the lower end of the bottle and are rounded at their ends toward the straight hexagonal base I). The sides 01' faces (I. are rounded at theirupper ends, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, to the hexagonal shoulders c. The neck l is made with approximately parallel sides flaring at e to the hexagonal shoulders c.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for a bottle, substantially as herein shown and described.
