Be it known that I, JOHN DAVID HUssEY,a citizen of the United States, residing at Walthall, in the county of Webster and State of Mississippi, have invented a new and useful Design for Clothes-Founders, of which the following is a specification. I
My invention relates to a design for clothespounders, which is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a side elevation of a pounder embodying my invention. Fig. 2 is an inverted perspective view of the same. Fig. 3 is a vertical central sectional view thereof.
My design consists of the funnelshaped portion A, having extending downward therein a tubular portion B, the lower end of the tubular portion flared outwardly, as shown at a, the four Wings b, which are situated between the tube B and the inner side of the funnel-shaped portion A, and the tubes 01,
situated between the wings b and uniting the tube and the funnel-shaped portion A.
The essential features of mydesign are the arrangement of the four wings 79, two of each of the four wings arranged in a straight line across the funnel-shaped portion A, and the four tubes cl, which are similarly arranged, but situated between the said four Wings.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a clothes-pounder substantially as herein shown and described.
