DESIGN FOR A CHIMNEY-PROTECTOR.

To aZZ whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, JOHN ll. \VAY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Hastings, in the county of Adams and State of Nebraska, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Chininey-Protectors; and Ido hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.

In the accompanying drawings, Figure 'i represents a perspective View of the chimneyprotector embodying my design, and Fig. 2 is a vertical longitudinal section through the same.

The leading feature of my design consists of a vertical body portion and a downwardly and outwardly flaring portion, which surrounds the vertical portion and extends from the same in opposite directions.

A in the drawings represents the vertical body portion of the protector, which is reetangular in shape and of a suitable length.

1 represents the outwardly and downwardly extending flaring portion which surrounds the vertical portion and extends from the same in opposite directions.

Having now described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The design for a chimney-protector, substantially as herein shown and described.
