DESIGN FOR A BAR.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,345, dated September 13, 1898.

Application filed July 9, 1898. Serial No. 685,536. Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, CHARLES E. CHAMBER- LIN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Detroit, in the county of Wayne and State of Michigan, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Bar, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawing, which shows my invention in side elevation.

As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists in a bar having substantially straight end sections connected by a twisted or spiral connectingsection of greater diameter than that of the end sections.

The bar consists of two straight end sections A and an intermediate connecting-section B, which is flat in cross-section and, as shown in the drawing, is twisted, forming a spiral the diameter of which is greater than that of the end sections of the bar.

The bar is intended for ornamental or decorative purposes.

Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The design for a bar substantially as herein shown and described.
