DESIGN FOR A GAS-STOVE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,657, dated September 3, 1895.

Application file April 8, 1895- Serial No. 544,999. Term of patent '7 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, AARON H. WoL1rF,a citizen of the United States, residing in the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Gas-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 of such drawings is an elevation of a stove ornamented with my design, and Fig. 2 is a plan View representing the top of the gas-stove.

The leading features of this design consist in the ornamental columns at the side portions of the front and the scroll and leaflet ornaments of the base and legs and the circular ringsin pairs with radial ribs and parallel converging bars on the top of the stove.

The front of the stove, at either side of the door, is ornamented with vertical Ionic columns, consisting of the fluted shafts a b and the scroll capitals a b. The horizontal base 0 is ornamented with scroll leaflet and flower configurations, in relief, along the surface thereof, the same being similar at each side of the central portion, and the legs 0! d are ornamented with scroll and leaflet configurations, in relief, upon the surfaces thereof.

The top comprises an ornamental c0nfiguration of parallel sides 6 e and rounded ends, between which are three sets of plain circular rings in pairs 2 3, 4 5, and 6 7, part of the outer rings 8 and 7 comprising the rounded ends, and the inner portions of the rings 3 5 and the rings 5 and 7 are united.

Plain radial ribsfif', and f are upon and extend within the rings 2, 4, and 6 and over the rings 3, 5, and 7. Beyond the rings 23, 5, and 7, and extending therefrom to the parallel bars e e, are parallel bars gin converging sets with intervening triangular figures h, and these bars 9 are ornamented with raised knob-surfaces.

What I claim is-- 1. The design for a gas stove, substantially as herein shown and described.

2. In the design for a gas stove herein shown and described, the design of the ornamental front column at either side of the door, substantially as described.

3. In the design foragas stove herein shown and described, the design of the ornamental base and legs, substantially as herein shown and described.

4. In the design for a gas stove as herein shown and described, the design of the ornamental top, substantially as herein shown and described.
