DESIGN FOR A GLASS VESSEL OR SIMILAR ARTICLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part 0f Design No. 32,948, dated July 17, 1900.
Application led November 24, 1899. Serial No. 738,231. Term oi' patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM I-I. SHANLEY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a. newand original Design for a. Glass Vessel or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a plan view of a bottom of a dish with my new design thereon. Fig. 2 is a. sectional view through center of dish shown in Fig. 1.
The design consists in as herein described.
The lending or material features of my design consist of the figures a, b, and c, worked into the surface of the vessel or similar arti cle. The figure a is distinguished by the tangential rays a a, surrounding the central portion o3. The central portion a3 is the ornamentation,
provided around its periphery with facets a4 a and has on its surface any geometrical figures, as a". The lign re ZJ is adjacent to gure a and is composed of two pointed oblong members b b', crossing or intersecting each other at an angle, while the figure c is a fancy star formed from geometrical figures and is adjacent to both gures a and b.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a glass vessel or similar article substantially as shown and described.
