THOMAS I. RANKIN, OF PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, ASSIGNQR TO THE ABRAM COX STOVE COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESlGN FOR A RANGE.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 24,603, dated August 20, 1895.
Application filed November 2'2, 1894. Serial No. 529,654. Term of patent '7 years.
To aZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, THOMAS I. RANKIN, a citizen of the United States, residing in Phila. delphia, Pennsylvania, have invented a. new and useful Design for a. Portable Range, of which the following is a specification.
My design for a cooking stove is clearly illustrated in the accompanying drawing, which represents the stove in perspective.
The essential features of the design are the ornamentation of the base, the oven-door, and fire-door.
Thebase A of the stove haslugs a, on which are fan-like scrolls. The skirts a between the legs are each ornamented with a twistedribbon scroll inclosing aseries of rosettes. In the center of each skirt is an inverted heartlike ornamentation.
The oven-door B has a. raised design in the shape of a. distorted oval inclosing the nameband. Surrounding this oval are a series of shell-like foliated scrolls.
The fire-door C has an ornamental rosette surrounded by a flat scroll in keeping with the oven-door. Below the fire-door is a de sign composed of three fan-like scrolls.
The water-heater D is ornamented in keeping with the fire-door.
I claim 1. The design forthe cooking stove as herein described and shown in the accompanying drawing.
2. The design for the base of a cooking stove as herein described and shown.
3. The design for an oven door of acooking stove as herein described and shown.
4. The design for a tire door as herein described and shown.
