I do hereb7 declare that the engraved prints accompanying this specification convey to any one accustomcdto using papel' patterns a clear understanding of how a garnicht made np by xo the pattern will appear.
The design shows n. basque and a round walking-skirt. The basque exhibits jacketfronts 4curving away from the tops of the shoulders and displaying between them a vest z 5 that is` seen in V shape above plaited and crossed surpliee ornaments, aclosetting back that describes at the bottom two small pointed tabs superimposed upon a. piaited skirtseetion, a standing collar, and coat-sleeves. The skirt displays a back drapery that falls in straight plaits at the left side and is lifted high at the rightside, where the outline is rounding. Some ot? the piaits: at the left side turn forward and the others backward, and two short front draperies, the riglhit drapery appearing to be much dlecper than` the left.
