The central ornament ol' the A consists of the twoinclined linescxtcnded beyond the up and down portions and met-ting al a central point. The lower rightdiand portion of the B K, and It is extended above the upper righthand portion ol' the letter, and isioincd upon rial N 325 J n the lel't. by the short inclined line. The upper right-hand termination of the t} and (l consistsol'the shortinclined lino cxtondingahorc l and below the upper portion of these letters. la the 1*], F, and K the upper right-hand por tion is ornamented by the short inclined line extending below tho upper portion of the let?- ters. The tail of the Q consists of an inclined line with short inclined line at each end. one (the left) below and the other (the right) above the line. lo the S both the incliucdline terminations are extended above and below the portions of the letter they ornament. In the W the central portion of the letter consists of the open triaugular ornament formed by the inclined lines, which cross each other about centrally and have their upper portions connected.
