DESIGN FOR A TAMPON-CARRIER, &c.
$PECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,707, dated March 2, 1897.
Application filed December 19, 1896. Serial No. 616,343. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, ULRICH HARDER, acitizen of the United Stat-cs, residing in the city of St. Louis and State of Missouri, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Tampon-Carriers and Tongue-Depressors, of which the following is a specitication.
In the accompanying drawings, which form part of this specification and wherein like symbols refer to like parts wherever they 00- eur, Figure 1 is a front View of a device composed of a tampon-carrier and atongue-dcprcssor combined according to my design. Fig. :3 is a side View thereof.
The portion 1 of my design corresponding with thehandle of the device is long, smooth, and straight, with a round or cylindrical section. At one end is a slightly-enlarged knob 2 with the space adjacent provided with one or more annular depressions 3 or made rough, as indicated at 4.
At the other end 5 the side lines in one plane are gradually widened out and then curved together into a spatulate or spoonshaped form, while the side lines in a plane at right angles to said first-mentioned plane are curved to the same side. The central portion of this spatulatc end is thicker than the marginal portion which is beveled al most to an edge.
\Vhat I claim is The design for a tampon-carrier and tonguedepressor substantially as herein shown and described.
