UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
GUSTAV HOFFMAN, OF YONKERS, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR A KETTLE OR POT SCRAPER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,272, dated March 26, 1901.
Application filed March 1, 1901. Serial No. 49,518. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.
Be it known that I, GUSTAV HOFFMAN, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Yonkers, in the county of Westchester and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Kettle or Pot Scraper, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification, in which similar characters of reference indicate corresponding parts in both the figures.
Figure l is a plan view of a kettle or pot scraper, showing my design; and Fig. 2 is an edge view of the same.
The leading feature of my design for a kettle or pot scraper consists in the plate-like body, one edge of which is formed in an outwardly-curved line, one end forming a point with the opposite edge, a portion of said 0pposite edge being on a straight line divergent from the curved edge, and another portion of said opposite edge being curved inward and connecting with the outwardly-curved edge by a projection rounded at the end and oppo= site the pointed end.
Referring particularly to the drawings, the body 1 is shown with a rectangular opening 2, and one edge 30f the body portion is curved outwardly and connects at one end and forms a point a, with an opposite straight edge 5, divergent from the poiutand connecting with an inwardly-curved edge 6, which connects with the curved edge 3 by a projection '7, rounded at its end.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for a kettle or pot scraper, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
GUSTAV HOFFMAN.
Witnesses WM. EDWARDS, CHARLES HOFFMAN.
