DESIGN FOR A BICYCLE-SADDLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,337, dated March 31, 1896.
Application filed February 28, 1896. Serial No. 581,210. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whont it may concern.-
Be it known that we, WILLIAM A. I'IULBERT and lllILAN lI. llULBERl, citizens of the United States, residing at New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for llh'syele-Saddles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings,sho win g apart thereof.
Figure 1. is a plan view of a saddle, showing our design; and Fig. i? is a cross-sectional View on line .1: of Fig. 1, these two views being deemed necessary to fully illustrate said design.
The leading feature of our design consists, in brief, of an outline of general peleeoidal shape having a centrally-disposed rectangular opening. Upon the said rectangular field are displayed lines extending transversely and longitudinally of the saddle, said lines being interwoven, as illustrated.
The letter a indicates that portion of our design corresponding to the rear end of the saddle, the same being semi-oval, and from the extreme ends of said semi-oval portion inwardly-curved lines I) I) extend forward, gradually approaching each other, being finally connected by a substantially semicircular line 0 at the poniniel end of the saddle design.
The side walls of the said design extend up ward and curve inward, as in Fig. 2.
What we claim is- The design for a bicycle-saddle substantially as herein shown and described.
