DESIGN FOR A COOKING-STOVE.

SPECIFICATION forming pzut of Design No. 15.138v dated July 1884 States, residing in the city of 'lro in the;

havcjointly invented and prtalueed a new and original Design forCookiug-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference be ing had to the accom 'ianying cnl, print, or to engraving, illustrating our said new design.

This design embraces several new and distinct parts and combinations of parts which go to make up the whole design, as shown in the accompanying illustration and herein- 5 after described.

The design for the shelf-supporting plate A consists of the ornamental curved and angular end edges, a, and the intermediate row ofseparate compound ornaments, b, all shaped and arranged together so as to present substantially the same appearance as is represented in the aforesaid print.

The design for the front door, B, is composed of the upper part, 0, having its front curved convexly from top to bottom, and three broad mica-light apertures, c, and ornaments c, and thelower portion, D, having the narrow draft openings (1 and intermediate ornaments. d, all shaped and arranged so as to appear substantially as illustrated in the aforesaid cut.

The design for the oven-door E consists of the rectangular border 0, the panel f, curved convexly from top to bottom, and having inclined or beveled endsf, and the compound border ornaments 9. all shaped and arranged together substantially as represented in the accompanying engraving.

The design for the separable oblong ornamental plate F consists of its top and bottom 4 scroll-curved edges, h, with angles It, the angular end edges, i, the middle name space or part,j, and the intermediate polished surface,

The design for the side plate, l, of the rear (K) extension consists, essentially, of the raised rectangular ornamental panel (.t, compound ornament p, and curved lower edge q, all shaped and arranged so as to appcarsubstantially as represented in the aforesaid cut.

The design for the base-frame consists of the side plate, J, havingthe middle ornament, r, and ornamental lower edge 5, the end plate, K, having the middle ornament, t, and ornamental lower edge u, and the corner parts, L, 0 having the ornament r, all shaped and arranged together so as to appear substantially as represented in the accompanying illustration.

The design for the legs M consists of the narrow curved part to, upper downwardly-tapering convex portion, :r, having the ornamentalside edges, y, and themiddle compound ornament, 2, all shapedand arranged as shown in the accompanying print.
