Abstract
Програмований лінійний приймач (1200) забезпечує належний рівень роботи системи при зниженому споживання енергії. Зниження споживання енергії засновано на вимірюванні нелінійності вихідного сигналу приймача (1200). Рівень нелінійності виміряється через нахил індикатора рівня сигналу або через відношення енергії на елемент коду до шуму (Ес/Іо). Нахил індикатора рівня сигналу є відношенням зміни вихідного сигналу плюс інтермодуляційні сигнали до зміни вхідного сигналу. Вхідний сигнал періодично збільшується на зумовлене значення і вихідний сигнал приймача (1200) виміряється. Вихідний сигнал включає бажаний сигнал і інтермодуляційні сигнали, породжені нелінійністю у приймачі (1200). Коли приймач (1200) працює лінійно, вихідний сигнал зростає на 1дБ при підвищенні вхідного сигналу на 1 дБ. Однак, якщо приймач (1200) переходить у нелінійний режим, інтермодуляційні сигнали, породжені нелінійністю, зростають швидше, ніж бажаний сигнал.
