Спосіб сушки і/або випалення цеглини-сирцю, наприклад, дірчастої цегли, в якому цеглу розміщують рядами і шеренгами на транспортному засобі і сушать теплим повітрям, причому відстань між цеглою вибирають таким чином, що цегла при сушінні і/або випаленні обробляється як окремі камені. Відстань між розташованими по ходу подачі транспортного засобу рядами більше відстані між шеренгами, отже між рядами утворюються канали, які слугують для почергового підведення і відведення повітря.
