Abstract

Description
實施例有關於由電子器件在無線網路中執行之操作及通訊。一些實施例係關於在無線網路上發生之交談式視訊工作階段。
在典型視訊會議應用程式中,兩個使用者接收彼此之實況視訊影像。在許多情況下,使用者可希望放大顯示出現在另一使用者之實況視訊影像中之特定特徵。因此,存在對視訊會議應用程式中的互動式變焦技術之需要。

本端使用者102在本端使用者設備(本端UE)106上執行視訊會議應用程式100,本端UE可包括膝上型電腦、蜂巢式電話或另一合適器件。本端UE 106包括攝影機(其在操作期間擷取本端使用者102之視訊)及顯示器(其在操作期間向本端使用者102顯示遠端使用者104之視訊)。

規範文件3GPP TS 26.114描述經由IMS之多媒體電話服務(MTSI),其允許進階多媒體交談服務及內容經由基於IMS之網路的傳遞。此文件包括媒體處置及互動之規
範,其包括媒體控制、媒體編碼解碼器以及媒體及控制資料之輸送。MTSI呼叫使用呼叫工作階段控制功能(CSCF)機制在涉及該呼叫之UE之間投送控制面傳信(control-plane signalling)。基於MTSI之傳輸器UE終端機擷取並記錄視訊,且經由3GPP網路將視訊傳送至基於MTSI之接收器UE終端機,其解碼並顯現視訊。在MTSI中,工作階段起始協定(SIP)充當應用層控制協定,以建立、修改及終止交談式多媒體工作階段,諸如視訊會議、網際網路電話呼叫及其他服務。發送終端機與接收終端機之間的基於工作階段描述協定(SDP)之傳信顧及了媒體相關能力協商中之要約/回答考慮因素,包括編碼解碼器、位元速率、解析度及其他考慮因素。MTSI中之媒體之輸送係基於經由UDP/IP之即時輸送協定(RTP)(由IETF RFC 3550規定)。
擷取器件及因此壓縮視訊之解析度正快速地增加。舉例而言,使用最近的高效視訊寫碼(HEVC)標準,作為可操作產品之部分,吾人可輸送並儲存4K內容。具有4k乘2k之解析度之攝影機現可廣泛地獲得。實況串流視訊已證明具有8k乘4k之解析度。解析度(就像素之數目而言)在未來可能增加。在具有此等極高解析度內容的情況下,視訊串流之新用途現在係可能的,如互動式變焦特徵。
該等互動式變焦特徵允許實現視訊在頻寬、空間解析度、定向等方面之動態調適。另外,該等互動式變焦特徵可動態地切換至正串流傳輸之視訊中之使用者選定區,且可針對此目的最佳化編碼。
本文中所論述之器件及方法提議以交談式視訊服務為目標的新媒體處置及工作階段管理特徵,以增強當使用互動式變焦特徵時傳遞至終端使用者之解析度。詳言之,為了解決上述問題,吾人提議用以將關於使用者之ROI之資訊(例如)作為RTCP回饋傳信或RTP標頭延伸之部分自接收終端機傳信至發送終端機的能力。名為基於ROI之變焦(ROI變焦)之此特徵可提供選定區域之優於單純圖形變焦情況下的影像品質,此係因為在此情況下發送器件可將全部可用頻寬用於編碼及傳輸ROI,其因此可將較高位元速率及品質傳遞至接收終端機。
圖2說明用於視訊會議應用程式(諸如,圖1之視訊會議應用程式100)之傳信方案的實例。發送用戶端202經由工作階段描述協定(SDP)將指示基於ROI之串流的要約(offer)發送至接收用戶端204。接收用戶端204經由SDP回答且接受基於ROI之串流。接收用戶端204將ROI資訊發送至發送用戶端202,諸如,在RTCP回饋訊息中或在RTP標頭延伸中(針對反向視訊串流)。發送用戶端202基於所指示之ROI來編碼並傳輸視訊,可能在用於前向視訊串流之RTP標頭延伸中指示ROI。此僅為一個實例;亦可使用其他合適傳信方案。
發送終端機與接收終端機之間的基於SDP之傳信顧及了媒體相關能力協商中之針對ROI變焦的要約/回答考慮因素,例如,1)在RTCP回饋及/或RTP標頭延伸訊息中指示ROI之能力,及2)理解/處理ROI資訊且相應地編碼
視訊之能力。
支援ROI變焦特徵之MTSI用戶端可針對含有視訊之所有媒體串流在SDP中要約ROI變焦。可藉由包括a=extmap屬性來要約ROI變焦,該a=extmap屬性指示在相關媒體行範疇下之ROI變焦URN。舉例而言,ROI變焦URN可設定為:urn:3gpp:roi-zoom。

在媒體行之以上實例中,數字7可用1與14(包括)之間的任何數字替換。
可視用戶端在SDP能力協商期間如何協商以支援該特徵而雙向或單向地支援ROI變焦能力。對於具有不對稱能力(例如,處理ROI資訊,但不偵測/傳信ROI資訊之能力)的終端機,可使用僅發送(sendonly)及僅接收(recvonly)屬性。終端機應足夠清楚地表達其在每一方向上之能力,使得僅在信號皆表達有用資訊之程度上在每一方向上發送信號且可由接收端來處理信號。ROI變焦包括將接收使用者之當前ROI傳信至發送者,使得發送UE可最佳地編碼及傳輸所擷取視訊。當ROI變焦經成功協商時,其可由MTSI用戶端傳信。ROI變焦之傳信可使用RTCP回饋報告或RTP標頭延伸。
當使用RTCP回饋報告時,接收終端機將使用者之當前ROI資訊包括於該接收終端機正傳輸至發送終端機
的RTCP報告中。當使用RTP標頭延伸時,接收終端機將使用者之當前ROI資訊包括於該接收終端機正傳輸至發送終端機的RTP封包中。此等RTP封包載運反向上之視訊串流,該等視訊串流可用於MTSI中之雙向視訊通訊。
可經由不同URN在SDP要約中指示此等不同ROI傳信能力。在一些實例中,吾人可選取此等能力中之一者且在SDP能力協商中使用單一URN。由於RTCP並不總是用於視訊呼叫中且可被關閉(此亦為SDP協商之部分),故為了最廣泛地支援ROI變焦特徵,將ROI資訊作為反向視訊串流之RTP標頭延伸之部分來進行傳遞可為最安全的。
兩個屬性可用以界定將包括於RTCP回饋報告或RTP標頭延伸中的ROI。一個屬性係位置,其可規定原始內容中被覆蓋之區之左上角,或可規定另一合適位置。另一屬性係大小,其可以相對值規定原始內容中被覆蓋之區之大小。舉例而言,位置之實例可為「0:0」,且大小之實例可為「0.33:0.33」。亦可使用其他合適值。
ROI變焦之存在不應影響發送終端機與接收終端機之間的經協商解析度(基於SDP imageattr屬性)。唯一區別在於,發送終端機將以協商解析度僅編碼ROI而非整個所擷取圖框,且此可導致比使接收終端機放大顯示ROI且裁切掉圖框之剩餘部分之情況下高的總解析度及較好的使用者體驗。發送終端機可潛在地將ROI指示為用於其前向視訊串流之RTP封包中之RTP標頭延伸之部分。

圖4說明行動器件400的實例。行動器件400可為使用者設備(UE)、行動台(MS)、行動無線器件、行動通訊器件、平板電腦、手機或其他類型之行動無線計算器件。行動器件400可在外殼402內包括一或多個天線408,該一或多個天線經組配以與熱點、基地台(BS)、演進型節點B(eNodeB)或其他類型之WLAN或WWAN存取點通訊。行動器件400可經組配以使用多個無線通訊標準(包括選自3GPP LTE、WiMAX、高速封包存取(HSPA)、藍芽及Wi-Fi標準定義之標準)進行通訊。行動器件400可使用用於每一無線通訊標準之單獨天線或用於多個無線通許標準之共用天線進行通訊。行動器件400可在WLAN、WPAN及/或WWAN中進行通訊。
