Claims (25)
1. Низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция, содержащая:
активный металл и носитель на основе оксида металла, где носитель на основе оксида металла содержит более 50 мас.% оксида церия на основании общей массы NOx адсорбирующей композиции, и где активный металл содержит от около 0,01% до около 5 мас.% рутения на основании общей массы NOx адсорбирующей композиции.
2. Низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция по п. 1, где низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция по существу свободна от бария или цеолита.
3. Низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция по п. 1, где носитель на основе оксида металла содержит более 90мас.% оксида церия на основании общей массы NOx адсорбера.
4. Низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция по п. 1, где носитель на основе оксида металла содержит по меньшей мере один дополнительный оксид металла, где по меньшей мере один дополнительный оксид металла представляет собой оксид редкоземельного металла.
5. Низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция по п. 1, где носитель на основе оксида металла содержит по меньшей мере один дополнительный оксид металла, выбранный из Pr6O11, ZrO2, Gd2O3, и их комбинаций.
6. Низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция по п. 5, где по меньшей мере один дополнительный оксид металла присутствует в количестве от около 0,1% до около 10 мас.% на основании общей массы NOx адсорбирующей композиции.
7. Низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция по п. 1, где NOx адсорбирующая композиция содержит поверхностную концентрацию активных ионов Ru по меньшей мере 0,5 мас.% на основании общей массы NOx адсорбирующей композиции.
8. Низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция по п. 1, где NOx адсорбирующая композиция адсорбирует NO из потока выхлопного газа при температуре от около 50°C до около 200°C в количестве по меньшей мере 30-60 мас.% на основе общего количества NO, присутствующего в потоке выхлопного газа.
9. Низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция по п. 1, где NOx адсорбирующая композиция окисляет NO, присутствующий в потоке выхлопного газа, до NO2 при температуре в интервале от около 300°C до около 600°C.
10. Низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция по п. 1, где NOx адсорбирующая композиция высвобождает NO обратно в поток выхлопного газа при температуре от около 170°C до около 300°C в количестве по меньшей мере от 55 до около 100 мас.% на основе общего количества NO, адсорбированного на NOx адсорбирующей композиции.
11. Низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция по п. 1, где NOx адсорбирующая композиция по существу свободна от какого-либо дополнительного активного металла.
12. Низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция по п. 1, где NOx адсорбирующая композиция содержится в катализаторе-ловушке обедненных оксидов азота.
13. Каталитическое изделие, содержащее подложку-носитель катализатора, имеющую множество каналов, приспособленных для потока газа, и низкотемпературную NOx адсорбирующую композицию по любому из пп. 1-12, расположенную для контакта с выхлопным газом, проходящим через каждый канал.
14. Каталитическое изделие по п. 13, где подложка-носитель представляет собой металлическую или керамическую сотообразную подложку.
15. Каталитическое изделие по п. 14, где сотообразная подложка представляет собой подложку в виде фильтра с проточными стенками или проточную подложку.
16. Каталитическое изделие по п. 14, где низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция наносится на подложку-носитель с загрузкой по меньшей мере около 0,5 г/дюйм3.
17. Каталитическое изделие по п. 13, где активный металл присутствует в количестве от около 10 до около 200 г/фут3.
18. Каталитическое изделие по п. 12, дополнительно содержащее вторую каталитическую композицию, где вторая каталитическая композиция содержит DOC каталитическую композицию или LNT каталитическую композицию; и
где вторая каталитическая композиция наслоена или зонирована на подложке-носителе с каталитической композицией NOx адсорбера.
19. Каталитическое изделие по п. 18, где вторая каталитическая композиция расположена непосредственно на подложке-носителе.
20. Система обработки выхлопного газа, содержащая низкотемпературную NOx адсорбирующую композицию по любому из пп. 1-12 и SCR катализатор, расположенный ниже по ходу потока от двигателя внутреннего сгорания.
21. Система обработки выхлопного газа по п. 20, где низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция присутствует на подложке-носителе, расположенном выше по ходу потока от SCR катализатора.
22. Система обработки выхлопного газа по п. 20, где низкотемпературная NOx адсорбирующая композиция и SCR катализатор расположены на одной и той же подложке-носителе.
23. Система обработки выхлопного газа по п. 20, где двигатель внутреннего сгорания представляет собой бензиновый или дизельный двигатель.
