Claims (36)

1. Композит катализатора окисления для уменьшения выбросов выхлопных газов из двигателя, работающего на бедной смеси, включающий:
подложку-носитель, обладающую длиной, входным концом и выходным концом, каталитический материал катализатора окисления на носителе, указанный каталитический материал катализатора окисления включает первый слой покрытия типа «washcoat», включающий первую подложку из тугоплавкого оксида металла, платиновый (Pt) компонент и палладиевый (Pd) компонент при отношении Pt : Pd, находящемся в диапазоне примерно от 10:1 до 1:10; и
второй слой покрытия типа «washcoat», включающий вторую подложку из тугоплавкого оксида металла, содержащую Mn, цеолит, Pt компонент и необязательно Pd компонент;
причем композит катализатора окисления эффективен для уменьшения углеводорода и монооксида углерода и для окисления NO в NO2 в выхлопных газах двигателя, работающего на бедной смеси.
2. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 1, в котором второй слой покрытия типа «washcoat» дополнительно включает палладиевый компонент и отношение Pt : Pd во втором слое покрытия типа «washcoat» находится в диапазоне от 1:0 до 10:1.
3. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 1, в котором второй слой покрытия типа «washcoat» в основном свободен от палладия.
4. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 2, в котором палладиевый компонент второго слоя покрытия типа «washcoat» содержится в количестве, находящемся в диапазоне от примерно 0,1 г/фут3 до примерно 10 г/фут3.
5. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 1, в котором первый слой покрытия типа «washcoat» нанесен на подложку-носитель, и второй слой покрытия типа «washcoat» нанесен поверх первого слоя покрытия типа «washcoat».
6. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 1, в котором содержание Mn во второй подложке из тугоплавкого оксида металла находится в диапазоне от 0,1% до 30% масс.
7. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 6, в котором содержание Mn находится в диапазоне от 3 до 10% масс.
8. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 6, в котором Mn находится в форме, выбранной из группы, состоящей из содержащего Mn твердого раствора с подложкой из тугоплавкого оксида металла, марганца, диспергированного на поверхности подложки тугоплавкого оксида металла путем пропитки, и дискретных частиц оксида марганца на частицах подложки из тугоплавкого оксида металла.
9. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 6, в котором Mn является производным растворимых соединений Mn или объемных оксидов Mn.
10. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 9, в котором растворимые соединения Mn выбраны из группы, состоящей из ацетата Mn, нитрата Mn, сульфата Mn и их комбинаций.
11. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 9, в котором объемные оксиды Mn выбраны из MnO, Mn2O3, MnO2 и их комбинаций.
12. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 6, в котором вторая подложка из тугоплавкого оксида металла включает оксид алюминия, диоксид кремния, диоксид циркония, диоксид титана, диоксид церия или их комбинации.
13. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 1, в котором второй слой покрытия типа «washcoat» содержит Pt компонент в количестве, находящемся в диапазоне примерно от 10 г/фут3 до 100 г/фут3.
14. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 13, в котором второй слой покрытия типа «washcoat» дополнительно содержит Pd компонент в количестве, находящемся в диапазоне примерно от 0,1 г/фут3 до 10 г/фут3.
15. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 13, в котором второй слой покрытия типа «washcoat» включает гидротермически стабильный цеолит в форме 6 - 12-членных кольцевых структур, выбранный из группы, состоящей из ZSM-5, бета, морденита, Y цеолита, шабазита, феррьерита и их комбинаций.
16. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 1, в котором первая подложка из тугоплавкого оксида металла включает оксид алюминия, диоксид кремния, диоксид циркония, диоксид титана, диоксид церия или их комбинацию.
17. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 1, в котором первый слой покрытия типа «washcoat» содержит Pt компонент в количестве, находящемся в диапазоне примерно от 10 г/фут3 до 100 г/фут3.
18. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 17, в котором первый слой покрытия типа «washcoat» содержит Pd компонент в количестве, находящемся в диапазоне примерно от 10 г/фут3 до 100 г/фут3.
19. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 1, в котором второй слой покрытия типа «washcoat» в основном свободен от бария и первый слой покрытия типа «washcoat» в основном свободен от цеолита.
20. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 1, в котором второй слой покрытия типа «washcoat» нанесен на подложку-носитель и первый слой покрытия типа «washcoat» нанесен поверх второго слоя покрытия типа «washcoat».
21. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 1, в котором подложка-носитель-включает проточный монолит.
22. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 1, в котором первый слой покрытия типа «washcoat» и второй слой покрытия типа «washcoat» оба нанесены на указанный носитель.
23. Композит катализатора окисления по п. 6, в котором Mn легирован с Fe, Ni, Со, Cu, Се, Sn, Ir, In или их комбинациями.
24. Способ обработки потока выхлопных газов дизельного двигателя, способ включает контактирование потока выхлопных газов с композитом катализатора окисления по любому из пп. 1-23.
25. Способ по п. 24, дополнительно включающий пропускание потока выхлопных газов через композицию СКВ катализатора, расположенную вниз по течению непосредственно после композита катализатора окисления.
26. Способ по п. 25, в котором композицию СКВ катализатора располагают на монолите фильтра с проточными стенками.
27. Система обработки потока выхлопных газов двигателя, работающего на бедной смеси, указанный поток включает углеводороды, монооксид углерода и другие компоненты выхлопа, причем указанная система включает: выхлопную трубу, сообщающуюся по текучей среде с двигателем, работающим на бедной смеси, через выпускной коллектор;
композит катализатора окисления по любому из пп. 1-23, в котором подложка-носитель представляет собой проточную подложку; и
каталитический сажевый фильтр и СКВ катализатор, расположенные вниз по течению после композита катализатора окисления.
28. Система по п. 27, в которой композит катализатора окисления добавляют в накопитель обедненных NOx.
29. Система по п. 28, в которой накопитель обедненных NOx включает бариевый компонент и родиевый компонент.
30. Система по п. 27, в которой СКВ катализатор нанесен на каталитический сажевый фильтр.
31. Система по п. 27, в которой СКВ катализатор находится на проточной подложке вниз по течению непосредственно после композита катализатора окисления и каталитический сажевый фильтр находится вниз по течению после СКВ катализатора.
