Abstract
1. Устройство для лечения глаза у пациента, причем глаз имеет конъюнктиву, содержащеепервую, по существу, кольцевидную структуру, выполненную с возможностью размещения на передней поверхности глаза в его наружной оптической области, по меньшей мере частично, по меньшей мере под одним из верхнего и нижнего век, причем первая структура содержит удерживающую структуру; ивторую структуру, поддерживаемую по меньшей мере частью удерживающей структуры, расположенной по всей второй структуре, от первого конца удерживающей структуры до второго конца удерживающей структуры, причем вторая структура изготовлена из материала более мягкого, чем первая структура, таким образом представляя собой более мягкую поверхность, пригодную для контакта с глазом, и при этом вторая структура содержит подложку, содержащую по меньшей мере один терапевтический агент, включенный или содержащийся в материале второй структуры;причем удерживающая структура имеет сопротивление изгибу такое, что устройство имеет первую форму перед размещением на глазу, и через некоторое время после размещения указанное устройство соответствует in situ второй форме, при этом первая структура, по существу, выполнена с возможностью удерживания второй формы после удаления из глаза.2. Устройство по п. 1, в котором вторая форма принимает форму конъюнктивы глаза или соответствует радиусу кривизны глаза.3. Устройство по п. 1, в котором первая форма размещена, по существу, с внутренней стороны первой плоскости, а вторая форма, по меньшей мере частично, простирается с наружной стороны первой плоскости.4. Claims (15)
1. Устройство для лечения глаза у пациента, причем глаз имеет конъюнктиву, содержащее
первую, по существу, кольцевидную структуру, выполненную с возможностью размещения на передней поверхности глаза в его наружной оптической области, по меньшей мере частично, по меньшей мере под одним из верхнего и нижнего век, причем первая структура содержит удерживающую структуру; и
вторую структуру, поддерживаемую по меньшей мере частью удерживающей структуры, расположенной по всей второй структуре, от первого конца удерживающей структуры до второго конца удерживающей структуры, причем вторая структура изготовлена из материала более мягкого, чем первая структура, таким образом представляя собой более мягкую поверхность, пригодную для контакта с глазом, и при этом вторая структура содержит подложку, содержащую по меньшей мере один терапевтический агент, включенный или содержащийся в материале второй структуры;
причем удерживающая структура имеет сопротивление изгибу такое, что устройство имеет первую форму перед размещением на глазу, и через некоторое время после размещения указанное устройство соответствует in situ второй форме, при этом первая структура, по существу, выполнена с возможностью удерживания второй формы после удаления из глаза.
2. Устройство по п. 1, в котором вторая форма принимает форму конъюнктивы глаза или соответствует радиусу кривизны глаза.
3. Устройство по п. 1, в котором первая форма размещена, по существу, с внутренней стороны первой плоскости, а вторая форма, по меньшей мере частично, простирается с наружной стороны первой плоскости.
4. Устройство по п. 1, в котором первая структура содержит полипропилен.
5. Устройство по п. 1, в котором материал второй структуры представляет собой силиконовый материал.
6. Устройство по п. 1, в котором указанный по меньшей мере один терапевтический агент выбирают из группы, состоящей из аналога простагландина, простамида, биматопроста, латанопроста, травопроста и агента, который снижает внутриглазное давление глаза.
7. Устройство по п. 1, дополнительно содержащее гаптический элемент, облегчающий размещение на глазном яблоке.
8. Устройство по п. 1, в котором удерживающая структура содержит первую криволинейную часть, имеющую радиус кривизны, соответствующий верхнему своду глаза, и вторую криволинейную часть, имеющую второй радиус кривизны, соответствующий нижнему своду глаза, причем удерживающая структура содержит носовую концевую часть и височную концевую часть, проходящие между первой криволинейной частью и второй криволинейной частью, при этом расстояние между носовой концевой частью и височной концевой частью имеет размер, препятствующий контакту носовой концевой части с карункулой глаза.
9. Устройство по п. 1, в котором удерживающая структура имеет форму, по меньшей мере одну из круглой, овальной, эллиптической или C-образной форм, причем удерживающая структура имеет размер и форму, препятствующие ее контакту с карункулой глаза.
10. Устройство по п. 1, в котором удерживающая структура содержит материал с памятью формы для обеспечения размера и формы при размещении на глазном яблоке, или в котором удерживающая структура содержит материал, отформованный для обеспечения размера и формы.
11. Устройство по п. 1, в котором удерживающая структура имеет максимальный поперечный размер не больше, чем примерно 1 мм, или примерно 0,75 мм, примерно 0,5 мм, или примерно 0,3 мм, подходящий для согласования внутри одной или большего количества складок конъюнктивы, или в котором удерживающая структура имеет размер поперечного сечения в диапазоне от размера шовного материала 3-0 до размера шовного материала 6-0.
12. Устройство по п. 1, в котором удерживающая структура представляет собой С-образную удерживающую структуру, подходящую для согласования с диапазоном размеров глаза от примерно максимальной окружности 20 мм вокруг оптической оси до примерно максимальной окружности 30 мм вокруг оптической оси.
13. Устройство по п. 1, в котором подложка содержит матрицу, содержащую терапевтический агент, в котором матрица содержит силикон и включения терапевтического агента внутри силикона, или в котором включения терапевтического агента содержат по меньшей мере одно из частиц, твердых частиц, кристаллических частиц, жидких частиц, капель или капель масла, содержащего терапевтический агент, или в котором терапевтический агент имеет количество, достаточное для распространения внутри матрицы таким образом, что частицы терапевтического агента растворяются в матрице, или в котором матрица представляет собой эродируемую матрицу.
14. Устройство по п. 1, в котором терапевтический агент содержит кристаллы битматпроста, содержание которых составляет по меньшей мере примерно 1 вес.% матрицы, или в котором терапевтический агент содержит капли масла латанопроста, содержание которых составляет по меньшей мере примерно 1 вес.% матрицы.
15. Устройство по п. 1, в котором подложка имеет длину дуги, соответствующую не больше, чем примерно 90˚, или не больше, чем примерно 80˚, или не больше, чем примерно 45˚, для облегчения периферийного перемещения подложки в направлении к нижней височной области глаза.
