Well-known and widely produced two-seater upholstered sofa beds typically consist of two upholstered seat and backrest cushions, constructed around a rigid frame with several layers of various flexible upholstery materials and finished with an outer covering of decorative textile upholstery material in various colors and textures. Known two-seater sofa beds have a backrest that tilts from a vertical sitting position to a horizontal lying position using a lever-and-slide mechanism supported by springs. In other versions, known sofas have a horizontally sliding seat section that slides into pockets formed in the side sections of the underseat box. The underseat box in these designs is typically a stationary element and is inextricably linked to the mechanism for tilting the backrest from a vertical sitting position to a horizontal lying position. In known designs, the underseat box is most often attached to a horizontal frame, to which at least four furniture legs and the backrest folding mechanism are attached. The industrial design addresses the issue of developing a new form of an upholstered, armless reclining sofa with a uniquely individualized outline of its shapes, lines, contours, and proportions, as well as the color scheme of its components, suitable for repeated industrial or handcrafted reproduction. The industrial design is illustrated in detail in the attached drawings, in which Fig. 1 shows a perspective diagonal view from the right side from the front of the armless sofa bed in the folded-down position, Fig. 2 shows the same view of the sofa bed in the position with the seat fully moved back, with the bedding container (under-seat box exposed) and the backrest positioned vertically, and Fig. 3 shows the same view of the sofa bed bed in the fully folded-down position. Each movable cushion has at least one corner, at a section corresponding to approximately half the length and half the height of the cushion, made of the same color and surface texture of decorative upholstery fabric as the fabric covering the seat and backrest.
