Recreational furniture side elements are known in the form of legs located within the armchair or sofa frame, and a shaped armrest, either in the form of a frame with upholstery filling or a frame made of a shaped rod. The industrial design is illustrated in a photograph, where Photo 1 shows the side element in perspective, and Photo 2 shows the side element in side view. The side element of the lounge furniture, located on both sides of the armchair or sofa, is a profile, preferably made of wood, with a rectangular cross-section. Each side element is a profiled section with a roughly vertical lower section, and above the seat, it is gently curved backwards and transitions into the armrest, which is slightly curved downwards. The space limited by the width of the section is filled with an upholstered board, which has a recessed section in the area where the section transitions into the armrest, bounded at the top by the inner surface of the section, and at the bottom in the front area by a plane that transitions in a gentle upward arc to the section. The side elements are connected by lower and upper connectors, not shown in the drawing, on which the seat and backrest are mounted. The essential features of an industrial design, which is a side element of a lounge furniture, located on both sides of an armchair or sofa, are the external outline of the element, which is a profile, preferably made of wood, with a rectangular cross-section, where each of the side elements is a profile profiled in such a way that its lower part is approximately vertical, and above the seat it is bent in a gentle arc towards the back and passes into the part constituting the armrest, slightly bent downwards, while the space limited by the width of the profile is filled with an upholstered board, having a shaped recess in the area of the arc transition of the profile into the armrest, limited from the top by the inner surface of the profile, and from the bottom in the front area by a plane passing in a gentle arc upwards to the profile.
