Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for oppgradering av plastmateriale som inneholder uorganisk fyllstoff eller forsterkningsmateriale for anvendelse som råmateriale i en partiell oksldasjonsgassgenerator for produksjon av rå syntese- gass, drivstoffgass eller reduserende gass. Plastmate- rialet blir granulert og blandet med vann for å fremstille plastslammet. Plastslammet blir forvarmet ved en temperatur fra ca. 176.7'C til 246,l'C i fravær av luft i et lukket system. Forvarmet plastslam blir deretter hydrotermisk behandlet ved en temperatur fra ca. 232,2'C til 343,3'C og ved et trykk over damp- trykket av vann ved den temperatur. Hydrotermisk behandlet plastslam blir avkjølt, avgasset og blandet med karbonholdig drivstoff for å fremstille en slurry. Slurryen blir deretter reagert ved partiell oksidasjon for å fremstille syntesegass, drivstoffgass eller reduserende gass.
