Abstract
Sammendrag Det beskrives et høyaluminiumoksidråstoff som, beregnet på tørrvekt, består av 50 - 80 vektprosent Al2O3, 2 - 15 vektprosent MgO, 1 - 15 vektprosent SiO2, 0,5 - 20 vektprosent CaO, 0,5 - 2 vektprosent Fe2O3, 0,5 - 2 vektprosent Na2O, 0,1 - 2 vektprosent metallisk Al, 0,1 - 1 vektprosent AlN, 0, 1 - 1,5 vektprosent K2O, 0,1 - 2 vektprosent F, 0,1 - 0, 8 vektprosent Cl, maksimalt 5 vektprosent rester til sammen, med et glødetap på maksimalt 15 vektprosent, og med de mineralske hovedbestanddeler 20 - 60 vektprosent aluminiumhydroksid, 10 - 40 vektprosent korund a -Al2O3, og 5 - 40 vektprosent spinell MgAl2O4, der forholdet mellom aluminiumhydroksid i form av Al-monohydroksid Al2O3 og Al-trihydroksid Al2O3.3H20 på vektbasis er større enn 0,25. Råstoffets fremstilling beskrives og videre dets anvendelse, særlig som sintringsaktiv aluminiumoksidbærer for fremstilling av keramiske og ildfaste produkter, sement, porøse bindemiddelbyggmaterialer, slaggdannere for jern og stålproduksjon samt mineralull og keramiske fibere.
