Abstract
Ligante hidráulico mineral, en especial para la fabricación de hormigón o mortero o suspensiones de cemento, basado por lo menos en un cemento, dicho cemento contiene fases de ladrillo, en especial C3S, C2S, C3A, C4AF y eventualmente componentes adicionales, que con el agua forman fases hidratadas que fraguan para formar el ladrillo de cemento y dicho cemento después del amasado con agua presenta una fase de reposo de unas horas, en la que no tiene lugar ninguna reacción notable de fraguado, caracterizado porque contiene - por lo menos un componente SiO2 de partículas finas en forma de ácido silícico pirogénico con un tamaño de partículas primarias entre 0,007 y 0,04 μm y contenidos de SiO2 entre el 96 y el 100 % en peso; - por lo menos un componente CaO de partículas finas en forma de - óxido cálcico, que contiene del 90 al 99 % en peso de CaO y presenta un tamaño de grano entre 0,5 y 100 μm y/o - cal hidratada con un contenido de CaO entre el 60 y el 75 % en peso y un tamaño de grano entre 0,7 y 100 μm; - dicho por lo menos un componente SiO2 y dicho por lo menos un componente CaO junto con el agua de amasado forman durante la fase de reposo fases de silicato cálcico hidratado que fraguan por una reacción puzolana y dan lugar a la resistencia inicial.
