Abstract
BOCAL DE LINGOTAMENTO CONTìNUO Um bocal para uso em lingotamento contínuo que tem um clínquer refratário contendo dolomita que fica arranjado na sua superfície de contato com o aço líquido, em que o refratário composto compreende um clínquer de dolomita que tem um tamanho de partícula médio de 0,8 mm ou menos e que tem um teor de CaO de 50% em massa ou menos, um ligante composto à adicionado de uma maneira tal que a relação de W1/W2 seja 0,33 ou mais, onde W1 representa o teor em peso de CaO e W2 representa o teor em peso de MgO, e o refratário é produzido compactado o composto resultante, seguido pela formação e tratamento térmico, ou em que o refratário composto compreende um clínquer de dolomita e um clínquer de magnésia, a relação de WD/WM é 0,5 a 1,5, onde WD representa a% de massa de partículas que têm um tamanho de partícula de 1 mm ou menos na distruição de tamanho do clínquer de dolomita, e WM representa a% em massa de partículas que têm um tamanho de partícula de 1 mm ou menos na distribuição de tamanho do clínquer de magnésia, e a relação de W1/W2 é 0,33 a 3,0, onde W1 representa o teor em% em massa de de CaO e W2 representa o teor% em massa de MgO. O bocal referida para uso em lingotamento contínuo apresenta, no lingotamento de aço fundido, melhor resistência a corrosão, além de excelente função de impedimento da aderência da alumina contida no aço líquido a uma superfície operacional em virtude de uma operação de lingotamento por um período de tempo prolongado.
