Abstract

"REFRATáRIOS ANTI-DEPOSIçãO DE ALUMINA PARA BOCAIS DE LINGOTAMENTO". Um refratário de bocal para lingotamento que compreende um agregado de refratário que contém 20% em massa ou mais, em relação à composição total, de um componente de CaO e 10% em massa ou mais de um clínquer contendo CaO como uma fase mineral, em que o filme de revestimento de CaCO~ 3~ é formado de pelo menos uma parte de CaO exposta na superfície de partículas do clínquer contendo CaO como uma fase mineral. CaCO~ 3~ que forma um filme é decomposto pelo calor para liberar um gás CO~ 2~, que torna uma superfície operante mais lisa, resultando em nenhuma deposição de metal e assim em sucessivo suprimento de CaO à alumina depositada na superfície operante, que leva à prevenção de deposição de alumina. O refratário é também efetivo para prevenir a hidratação por uma reação de hidrólise.
