Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte og en innretning for detektering av opptatt- eller fritilstanden i et sporavsnitt (1a, 1b, 1c; 4) ved hjelp av en skinnestrømkrets, hvor et sendesignal innføres og hvorfra i det minste ett detekteringssignal uttas. For å muliggjøre en forlengelse av den maksimalt mulige skinnestrømkretslengden, er skinnestrømkretsen (4) delt i delavsnitt (6) som overlapper hverandre over hele lengden, idet sendesignalet føres inn i midten av det delavsnittet (6) hvor et skinnekjøretøy kjører inn. Deteksjonssignalene uttas ved begge ender av delavsnittet (6) eller videreføres via tilgrensende delavsnitt (6) til skinnestrømkretsendene for uttak der. Hvert delavsnitt (6) er på midten og ved endene forsynt med transceivere (5). Den midtre transceiveren (5) virker som sender (S) mens transceiverne ved endene virker som mottakere (E1, E2).
