Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en dampkjel (1) som tørker, antenner og forbrenner avfall og fremstiller damp (2, 2a) ved varmeveksling med avgassene (3). Dampkjelen (1) omfatter en reaktor (16) med brenning av et sekundært drivstoff (18) for å generere en mindre korrosiv gasstrøm (6) og en sluttoverheter (8) plassert i strømmen (6) av den mindre korrosive gassen. Reaktoren (16) kan være en sintringsreaktor, en roterovn, et fluidisert sjikt eller strålesjikt. Dette sørger for økt levetid for sluttoverheteren og tillater at dampkjelen gir høy og effektiv kraftproduksjon.
