Abstract

Fremgangsmåte og anordning som øker mengden av reproduksjon (igjennom økt hastighet av reproduksjon og/eller økt utbytte av reproduksjon) av levende celler i suspensjon eller av enhver dyrkbar organisme igjennom prosessen av naturlig seleksjon, nevnte anordning omfatter: a) et fleksibelt, sterilt rør (7) inneholdende dyrkningsmedium, b) et system av bevegbare porter (klemmer)(3, 4, 5) som deler røret (97) inn i separate regioner inneholdende utbrent kultur (nedstrømregion), voksende kultur (vekstkammer), og friskt vektmedium (oppstrømregion), c) et middel for å bevege portene og rørmaterialet (1 3) slik at en del av vekstkammeret og den assosierte kulturen kan bli klemt av og separert fra vekstkammeret, og slik at en del av friskt rørmateriale inneholdende ubrukt medium kan bli sammenføyd med en del av kulturen og assosiert medium allerede tilstede i vekstkammeret.
