Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse gjelder en flytende krystall- fremvisningsiimretning som omfatter et flytende krystallpanel (8) som én av flere optiske komponenter for overføring, absorpsjon eller refleksjon av lys. Minst én av de optiske komponenter omfatter et safirsubsfrat. Disse optiske komponenter omfatter videre en linse (4), samt en polarisator (6, 7) med en polariserende film (13) og en bæreplate (15) for fastholding av den polariserende film, og det flytende krystallpanel (8) kan omfatte et gjennomsiktig subsfrat (19,20). I dette tilfelle kan en hvilken som helst av disse komponenter, nemlig linsen, bæreplaten og de gjennomsiktige subsfrater omfatte et safirsubsfrat, og det vil da være mulig å frembringe en flytende krystallfremvisningsiimretning av lysgjeimomløpstype for overføring av lys fra lyskilden (1) gjennom linsen (4), polarisatoren (6, 7) og det flytende krystallpanel (8) for å projisere dette lys.
