Abstract

Flammehemmende blanding for lignocellulosekompositter, omfattende 60-90 vekt% partikkelformige og/eller fibrøse lignocellulosematerialer og 40-10 vekt% av et flammehemmende konsentrat som er immobilisert på og/eller i de partikkelformige og/eller fibrøse lignocellulosematerialer som bærere. Flammehemmerkonsentratet inneholder flammehemmere av type borsyrer og/eller borsyresalter, og melaminharpikser, eventuelle synergister og andre additiver. Flammehemmerne er kjemisk koblet til melaminharpiksene. Flammehemmerkonsentratene er immobilisert på og/eller i bærersubstansen av lignocellulosematerialer. Den flammehemmende blanding kan fremstilles ved væskeimpregnering, smelteimpregnering eller væskeimpregnering/blanding med faste stoffer. Flammebestandige lignocellulosekompositter kan fremstilles ved å smeltebearbeide blandinger omfattende 40-95 vekt% flammehemmer og 60-5 vekt% herdeplastprepolymerer. Som flammebestandige halvfabrikatprodukter og støpematerialer gir lignocellulosekomposittene stor motstand mot angrep av insekter, sopp og mugg, samtidig som den flammehemmende blanding har stor motstand mot å bli vasket ut. Lignocellulosekomposittene er egnet for anvendelser utendørs og innen bygnings- og fritidssektoren.
