Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører anvendelse av polyakrylsyrer som inneholder organiske endegrupper inneholdende svovel, omfattende minst to karbonatomer, har en gjennomsnittlig molekylvekt M, på 5000 til 30.000 g/mol og som er i det minste nøytralisert med base valgt fra gruppen bestående av alkalimetallhydroksider og ammoniakk som hjelpestoffer for våtmaling av kalsiumkarbonat. Oppfinnelsen vedrører også vandige finpartiklede suspensjoner av kalsiumkarbonat fremstilt ved våtmaling av kalsiumkarbonat i nærvær av de nevnte polyakrylsyrer.
