Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelsen vedrører en prosess for fremstilling av metalloksid fra metallforbindelser, særlig metallhydroksid eller metallkarbonat, hvor metallforbindelsen føres inn i en reaktor (25) som har et virvelsjikt, oppvarmes der til en temperatur på 650 til 1150ºC ved forbrenning av brensel, og det genereres metalloksid. Oppfinnelsen vedrører også et tilsvarende anlegg. For å bedre energiutnyttelsen foreslås det å innføre den første gassen eller gassblandingen fra under reaktoren og inn i et blandekammer (20) i reaktoren (25) gjennom et gasstilførselsrør (26). Gasstilførselsrøret (26) er i det minste delvis omgitt av et stasjonært, ringformet virvelsjikt (27) som fluidiseres ved at det tilføres fluidiseringsgass. Gasshastighetene til den første gassen eller gassblandingen og fluidiseringsgassen for det ringformede virvelsjiktet (27) reguleres slik at partikkelfroudestallet i gasstilførselsrøret (26) vil ligge mellom 1 og 100 i det ringformede virvelsjikt vil ligge mellom 0,02 og 2, og i blandekammeret (20) vil ligge mellom 0,3 og 30.
