Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av et insulin-C-peptid, som omfatter at man i en vertscelle uttrykker et multimert polypeptid omfattende multiple kopier av insulin-C-peptidet, og spalting av det ut- trykte polypeptid under frigjøring av enkeltkopier av insulin-C-peptidet. Det er også tilveiebrakt nukleinsyremolekyler, ekspresjonsvektorer og vertsceller for an- vendelse ved en slik fremgangsmåte, samt det multimere insulin-C-peptid- polypeptid uttrykt og spaltet ved en slik fremgangsmåte.
