Description
Anordning ved mutter, fortrinnsvis vingemutter.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrorer en anordning véd en mutter, fortrinnsvis en vingemutter, til bruk på bolter som er særlig utsatt for korrosjon grunnet beroring med f. eks. saltvann, fuktig luft og lignende. Anordningen ifolge oppfinnelsen er særlig tenkt anvendt ombord på skip for lukestenging og lignende, men kan selvsagt med for-
del anvendes overalt der hvor det er fare for stor korrosjon av boltene. Boltene som i dag anvendes ved luker ombord på skip er utildekket og således stadig utsatt for saltvann som skyller over dekk. Dette forer til en rask korrosjon (rust) av boltene, selv om disse innsettes med fett eller lignende, og mutterne ruster derfor raskt fast til bolten. Når så lukene skal åpnes, er det et uforholdsmessig stort arbeide å losne alle de fastrustede muttere fra boltene for lukene kan frigjores.
I tillegg til at det tar lang tid å banke los mutterne for de kan skrus opp, er det tidskrevende og kostbart med den hyppige innsett-ing av boltene med fett eller lignende. Bruk av koppmuttere er ikke aktuelt, da mutterne av sikkerhetsmessige grunner må hindres i av-skruing og frigjoring fra bolten, ved hjelp av en gjennom bolten fort låsesplint, eller ved hjelp av en lignende sperre.
Ifolge oppfinnelsen er det derfor tilveiebragt en anordning ved en mutter, fortrinnsvis en vingemutter, og det som kjennetegner oppfinnelsen er at det på mutterens utovervendende side er æordnet en avtagbar innretning som påsatt tilveiebringer et lukket kammer rundt skruens frie del.
En fordelaktig utforelsesform av oppfinnelsen er kjenneteg-net ved at mutteren er forsynt med en stuss- eller hylselignende forlengelse, som kan lukkes med en hette eller en plugg. Hetten kan væ-re forsynt med innvendige gjenger som samvirker med utvendige gjenger på stussens eller hylsens ovre del. Et videre trekk ved oppfinnelsen er at hetten eller pluggen på i og for seg kjent måte kan være forsynt med en smorenippel.
Ved proveforsok har det vist seg at man ved anvendelse av
en anordning i henhold til oppfinnelsen har oppnådd en arbeidsbespar-else på ca. 30 dagsverk i et år ombord i et middels stort lasteskip,
i relasjon til de konvensjonelle muttere som i dag anvendes. I tillegg kommer kostnadsbesparelse med hensyn til forbrukt mengde inn-settingsfett og lignende.
Oppfinnelsen skal forklares nærmere nedenfor under henvis-ning til tegningen. I fig. 1 og 2 er det vist to utforelsesformer av oppfinnelsen.
I fig. 1 er mutteren betegnet med henvisningstallet 2. Bolten, hvorpå mutteren skrus på, er betegnet med 1. Mutteren har en stusslignende forlengelse eller en forlengelse av navpartiet, hvilken forlengelse er betegnet med 3* Forlengelsen 3 er forsynt med ytter-gjenger og på denne stussforlengelsen er det påskrudd en hette 4« Mutteren 2 er sikret mot fullstendig frigjoring fra bolten 1, ved hjelp av en låsesplint 5.
Utforelsen i fig. 2 består av en vingemutter 6 som på den ene siden har en fastsveiset hylse 7« Hylsen 7 har ytterst et gjenge-parti og er påskrudd en hette 8. Mutteren 6 er sikret på bolten 9 ved hjelp av en låsesplint 10 som går gjennom bolten.
Monteringen av mutteren skjer på den måten at man forst mon-terer bolten i luken, i dekket eller på det sted hvor anordningen skal anvendes. Deretter skrus vingemutteren på bolten. I utførel-sen i fig. 2 er det for å få festet låsesplinten 9 nodvendig forst å skru vingemutteren så langt ned at boltens hull for låsesplinten frilegges over den påsveisede hylses 7 ovre kant. Ifolge gjeldende regler for skip er det påbudt å anvende denne låsesplint, da den skal hindre at mutteren kan skrus helt los av bolten og således "frigjore" lukens stengeinnretning og slippe f. eks. sjovann ned i lasterommet.
I utforelsen i fig. 2 er den påsveisede hylse 7 så lang at den, når vingemutteren er skrudd helt ned til f. eks. luke eller dekk, rager et stykke over boltens 9 ovre ende. Den avtagbare hette 8 festes deretter på hylsens 7 ovre del, og bolten 9 er nu helt omslut-tet av hylsen og hetten. Til slutt fores så fett eller lignende gjennom den i hetten 4> resp. 8 anordnede smorenippel (ikke vist) inn i mellomrommet over og mellom bolten og hylsen/hetten. Spalten eller åpningen mellom bolten og den påsveisede hylse 7 i fig. 2 må være til-strekkelig stor til at hylsen ved mutterens dreiing på bolten går klar av låsesplinten. I tillukket tilstand vil boltens gjengede del og f. eks. dekk/luke være hermetisk innelukket, med boltens gjenger samt mellomrommet fylt med fett eller lignende. Anordningen hindrer således at saltvann, fuktig luft eller lignende kommer i kontakt med boltens gjenger, og man unngår således all korrosjon og fastrusting av mutteren til bolten. Hylsens 7 lengde, resp. hettens 4 lengde kan varieres etter onskede standardmål på boltene.
Claims (4)
1. Anordning ved en mutter, fortrinnsvis en vingemutter, karakterisert ved at det på mutterens utovervendende side er anordnet en avtagbar innretning som påsatt tilveiebringer et iukket kammer rundt skruens frie del.
2. Anordning ifolge krav 1, karakterisert ved at mutteren har en stuss- eller hylselignende forlengelse, som kan lukkes med en hette eller en plugg.
3. Anordning ifolge krav 2,karakterisert ved at hetten er forsynt med innvendige gjenger som samvirker med utvendige gjenger på hylsen eller stussen.
4. Anordning ifolge et av kravene 1 - 3>karakterisert ved at den avtagbare innretning på i og for seg kjent måte er forsynt med en smorenippel.
