Rafelbestendlg, zelfdragend geweven synthetisch vasculair trensplantaat
De uitvinding heeft betrekking op een rafelbestendig en zelfdragend geweven synthetisch vasculair transplantaat, bevattende: een buisvormig weefsel omvattende een substraat dat gevormd is uit een aantal 5 kettinggarens verweven met ten minste één vulgaten.
De Britse octrooiaanvrage 820.014 beschrijft een geweven buisvormig weefsel voor gebruik als een kunstader of als een brandslang. In het bijzonder een buisvormige weefsel van een spiraalvormige spoel van een composietvezel gevormd uit een geweven monofilamentgaren van nylon of andere kunstmatige vezels, bedekt met een garen.
10 Het buisvormige weefsel volgens de Britse octrooiaanvrage is door het gebruik van twee geweven garens (een eerste groter monofilamentgaren en een tweede kleiner fijn garen) geweven in een alternerend patroon langs de lengte van het weefsel hetgeen een buisvormige structuur produceert die in staat is tot buigen zonder knikvorming. Het monofilament van deze structuur is alleen in een deigelijke structuur opgenomen om een knikresistente buis te vormen en niet voor verstijvigingseigenschappen.
15 Het buisvormige weefsel volgens het Britse octrooiaanvrage is geen zelf ondersteunende buisvormige structuur zonder krimp en is niet gericht op de radiale stijfheid zonder veerkracht of samendrukbestendigheid. -
Het weven van buisvormige weefsels wordt volgens de Britse octrooiaanvrage bereikt door een platte weefmachine die buisvormige structuren produceert in een afgeplatte vorm. Natuurlijk, wanneer de buis 20 eenmaal met vloeistof gevuld is, functioneert deze als een drukvat en blijft open. Nadeel is onder meer dat het buisvormige weefsel niet noodzakelijkerwijs leidt tot een buisvormige structuur die zelf ondersteunend en zonder krimp is, dat is, normaal open in een niet belaste toestand. Een van de beoogde gebruiken voor de resulterende buisvormige structuur is namelijk die van een brandslang is, waarbjj een brandslang natuurlijk in staat moet zijn om voor opslag in een platte toestand opgerold te kunnen worden.
25 Daarnaast bleek het buisvormige weefsel te kunnen rafelen.
Dienovereenkomstig, is het een doel van de uitvinding een verbeterd geweven synthetisch vasculair transplantaat te verschaffen.
Een ander doel van de uitvinding is het verschaffen van een zelfdragend geweven synthetisch vasculair transplantaat welke rafelbestendlg Is.
30 Een verder doel van de uitvinding is het verschaffen van synthetisch geweven vasculair transplantaat welke bestendig is tegen knikken zonder de noodzaak het transplantaat te plooien.
Een verder doel van de uitvinding is het verschaffen van een geweven synthetisch vasculair weefsel-transplantaat welke geschikt is voor perifeer gebruik in kleine diameters van 6 mm of minder.
Nog een verder doel van de uitvinding is het verschaffen van een geweven synthetisch vasculair 35 weefsel-transplantaat met een kleine diameter welke knikbestendig is en een wensbare hoeveelheid van longitudinale rek verschaft zonder plooiing.
Nog een verder doel van de uitvinding is het verschaffen van een rafelbestendig geweven synthetisch vasculair weefsel-transplantaat welke een uitwendig velour oppervlak bevat om celweefselingroeiing te bevorderen.
40 Nog een verder doel van de uitvinding is het verschaffen van een zelfdragend geweven synthetisch vasculair transplantaat met een fijn, geweven oppervlak met gering profiel om de vorming van gladde, dunne pseudo intlma te bevorderen.
Nog een verder doel van de uitvinding is het verschaffen van een rafelbestendig geweven synthetisch enkelvoudig velour vasculair weefsel-transplantaat met verbeterde knikbestendigheid zonder plooiing.
45 Nog een verder doel van de uitvinding is het verschaffen van een werkwijze voor het maken van een verbeterd rafelbestendlge geweven synthetisch vasculair weefsel-transplantaat volgens de uitvinding.
De uitvinding heeft tot doel de bovengenoemde nadelen ten minste gedeeltelijk op te heffen en de bovengenoemde doelen ten minste gedeeltelijk te verwezenlijken, en betreft daartoe een rafelbestendig en zelfdragend geweven synthetisch vasculair transplantaat van de bovengenoemde soort, met het kenmerk, 50 dat het substraat een smeltbare component bevat met een lagere smelttemperatuur dan de resterende garens van het substraat om de stof rafelbestendig te maken na smelten van de component, en waarin het vulgaren een verstevigingscomponent omvat over de lengte van het weefsel, waarbij de verstevigings-component voldoende buigstijfheid heeft om radiale stijfheid met veerkracht aan het weefsel te verschaften waarbij na warmte-uitharding van het weefsel in een in hoofdzaak open lumenconfiguratie het resulterende 55 transplantaat bestendig tegen samendrukken en zelfdragend is zonder krimpen van het weefsel.
Door het opnemen van de van een smeltbare component in het weefsel is het mogelijk gebleken om de structuur rafelbestendig te maken na het smelten van een dergelijke smeltbare component Bovendien bleek 194229 2 daarbij na het door warmte uitharden van het weefsel een in het algemeen open lümenconfiguratie mogelijk.
Daarnaast bleken de kettinggarens een longitudinale samendrukbaarheid te hebben en bleek dat uitharding van het weefsel in een longitudinaal samengedrukte toestand rekbaarheid en knikbestendigheid te verschaffen.
5 Overigens uit de Franse octrooiaanvrage 2.364.284 een werkwijze bekend voor het vervaardigen van een stijve, geperforeerde doek zoals een filterelement voor het filteren van deeltjesmaterie uit een vloeistof of gasvormig medium wanneer dat fluïdum over het geweven weefselfilterelement gaat. De beschreven structuur is ongeschikt voor de constructie van een vasculair transplantaat daar een vasculair fransplantaat zowel flexibel als veerkrachtig dient te zijn. Er is geen suggestie in de Franse octrooiaanvrage gericht op 10 een vasculair transplantaat volgens de uitvinding.
In het bijzonder is de smeltbare component een tweecomponenten vezel is met een bij hoge temperatuur smeltbare kern en een bij lage temperatuur smeltbare polymeren omhulsel.
Bij voorkeur zijn de smeltbare component en de verstevigingscomponent samengewikkeld.
Het verdient de voorkeur wanneer de verstevigingscomponent een eenvezelig garen is, en het warmteuit-15 harden van het weefsel in de in hoofdzaak open lümenconfiguratie hef eenvezelige garen doet hard worden in een gestabiliseerde circulaire geometrie die het weefsel ondersteunt in de in hoofdzaak open lumen-configuratie.
Bij voorkeur smelt in het geweven vasculair transplantaat volgens de uitvinding de smeltbare component tussen ongeveer 110 en 230eC. Meer bij voorkeur wordt de smeltbare component geselecteerd uit de groep 20 bestaande uit copolyester, polyethyleen, geactiveerd copolyethyleen, copolyolefine en polyurethaanharsen.
Het verdient de voorkeur wanneer in een geweven vasculair transplantaat volgens de uitvinding het substraat verder een aantal lussen van meervezelige stapelkettinggarens heeft om ten minste één velours oppervlak te vormen. Bij voorkeur zijn daarin de stapelkettinggarens tussen elk kettinggaren alterneren. Bij voorkeur bevat het substraat een uitwendig oppervlak met lussen en een glad inwendig oppervlak, waarbij 25 de lussen op het uitwendige oppervlak gevormd zijn van kettinggarens van gevlochten meervezelig garen.
Het verdient de voorkeur wanneer in een geweven vasculair transplantaat volgens de uitvinding het weefsel verwarmd is om de smeltbare componenten te verbinden met naburig garens, en waarin de kettinggarens van het resulterende transplantaat longitudinaal meegevend zijn waardoor het resulterende transplantaat rekbaar en knikbestendig wordt 30
Voor een vollediger begrip van de uitvinding, wordt verwezen naar de volgende beschrijving in samenhang met de bijgaande tekening waarin: , figuur 1 is een weefschema van een rafelbestendig geweven synthetisch vasculair transplantaat weefsel vervaardigd volgens een bevoorkeurde uitvoeringsvorm van de uitvinding; 35 figuur 2 is een schematisch aanzicht in doorsnede in draadrichting van een gereed transplantaat· oppervlak tonende de dooreengevlochten draden en van het vulgaren van een transplantaatweefsel met het weefpatroon van figuur 1; figuur 3 is een vergroof aanzicht in doorsnede van hef vulgaren van hef transplantaatsubstraat van figuur 1; 40 figuur 4 is een aanzicht in doorsnede van een tweecomponenten-weefsel van de smeltbare component van het vulgaren van figuur 3; figuur 5 is een aanzicht in perspectief van een buisvormig rafelbestendig geweven enkelvoudig velour vasculair transplantaat gemaakt volgens de uitvinding; en figuur 6 is een aanzicht in perspectief van een gevorkt rafelbestendig geweven enkelvoudig-velour 45 vasculair transplantaat gemaakt in overeenstemming met de uitvinding.
De geweven synthetische vasculaire transplantaten die vervaardigd zijn volgens de uitvinding zijn toepasbaar voor een groot bereik van diameters, bevattende het kleine 2 tot 6 mm diametergebied geschikt voor perifeer gebruik alsmede dimensies van tot 40 mm. Dienovereenkomstig, kunnen transplantaten geweven 50 worden met binnendiameters in het gebied van ongeveer 2 tot ongeveer 40 mm die bestendig zijn tegen rafelen en zelfdragend zijn en knikbestendig zijn zonder geplooid te worden.
In een bevoorkeurde uitvoeringsvorm van de uitvinding, heeft het geweven transplantaat een diameter van 6 mm of minder. In een andere bevoorkeurde uitvoeringsvorm heeft het geweven transplantaat een uitwendig oppervlak met lussen en een glad inwendig oppervlak. De transplantaten zijn rafelbestendig, en 55 zijn zelfdragend en knikbestendig zonder het weefseloppervlak te plooien. De transplantaten bezitten rafelbestendigheid door het door warmte uitharden van ketting en vulgarens die smeltbare tweecomponenten-vezels bevatten met een kem uit polyesterhars en een bij lage temperatuur smeltbare 3 194229 copolyester of polyethyleenomhulsel. Gedurende warmte-uitharding wordt het smeltbare harsomhulsel in het . garen van het geweven weefsel verbonden met elk vlechtgaren in het weefsel. Het smeltbare garen is opgebouwd uit Celbond type K54 tweecomponenten-vezels van Hoechst Celanese. De vezels zijn verkrijgbaar in lengten van 4 tot 8 cm en 2 15 denier. De gebruikte garens zijn biologisch compatibel.
5 De verstevigingscomponent in het vulgaren kan eenvezelig zijn. Selectie zal variëren in afhankelijkheid van de gewenste eigenschap van het buisvormige transplantaat. De verstevigingscomponent, dient echter voldoende stijf te zijn om dimensionele stabiliteit en radiale stijfheid met veerkracht aan de buis te geven zonder plooiing. De verstevigingscomponent zou de volgende minimale fysische eigenschappen dienen te hebben: 10 Diameter. > 50 < 250 pm

De diameter kan variëren in afhankelijkheid van de vereiste eigenschappen, maar zou typisch in het bereik van 50 tot 250 pm zijn.
De transplantaten bezitten longitudinale elasticiteit verschaft door de warmte-uitharding wanneer het transplantaat longitudinaal samengedrukt is. Dit drukt de kettinggarens samen om rek te verschaffen zonder 25 het weefseloppervlak te moeten plooien.
Bij voorkeur, is de meerderheid van garens die gebruikt worden in het geweven transplantaat van polyethyleentereftalaat, zoals Dacronpolyester verkrijgbaar van DuPont of polyester verkrijgbaar van Teljin, Hoechst-Celanese en Toray Industries. Transplantaatsubstraat wordt gevormd door het weven van een aantal van kettinggarens van meervezelig garen met een gecombineerd vulgaren van smeltbaar garen en 30 stijver eenvezelig garen die voor het weven samengevouwen of gewikkeld zijn. Het geweven weefsel wordt onder warmte uitgehard om de tweecomponenten-vezels aan orthogonale kettinggarens te verbinden om longitudinale flexibiliteit te verschaffen die de integriteit van het transplantaat handhaaft. Het verbinden van het bij lage temperatuur smeltbare omhulsel van de tweecomponentenvezels aan de vlecht-kettinggarens verschaft rafelbestendigheid. Het grote aantal van verbindingsplaatsen maakt het mogelijk om het buisvor-35 mige transplantaat onder elke hoek te snijden en rafelbestendigheid te behouden.
Het eenvezelige polyester dat gebruikt wordt als een verstevigingscomponent in het volgende voorbeeld is een polyethyleentereftalaatgaren van 127 pm. Het garen heeft de volgende fysische eigenschappen:
Diameter. 0,005 inch (5 mil of 0,127 mm) 40 Treksterkte: 6,2 gram per denier (110.000 psi)
Aanvangs- 112 gram per denier (1.980.000 psi) modulus: 4 I (traagheidsmoment) ^ 45

De smeltbare vezel, Celbond, is opgebouwd uit een kern van polyester en een omhulsel van copolyester of polyethyleen. Het is het omhulsel van de vezel dat de verbinding verschaft. De verkrijgbare omhulselhar-50 sen smelten in het gebied van 110-200°C, terwijl het kemhars smelt bij ongeveer 260°C. De vezel kan ofwel gesponnen worden in een garen zelf en gecombineerd met de enkelvoudige vezel of het kan rechtstreeks gecombineerd worden met de enkelvoudige vezel onder gebruikmaking van het kernspin-proces. Dit produceert een garen met een eenvezelige kern waarbij de Celbond-vezels daaromheen gedraaid zijn om een omhulsel te vormen.
55 De smeltbare component kan een vezel zijn die volledig opgebouwd is uit smeltbare hars, daar waar de gehele vezel zou smelten, niet alleen het omhulsel. Het Is tevens mogelijk om meervezelige garens te gebruiken, of ze nu tweecomponent-vormig of enkelvoudig zijn, in plaats van stapelgaren. Het bij lage 29422e 4 temperatuur smeltbare hars kan tevens rechtstreeks op de buitenkant van de eenvezelige component van de vulgarens aangebracht worden door coëxtrusie of nabedekkingsprocessen. Dit zou het gebruik van de Celbond-vezel in het voorbeeld vervangen.
Gedurende het warmte-uithardingsproces, wanneer de buis gevormd wordt tot een buisvormig vasculair 5 transplantaat, versmelt de tweecomponenten Celbond-vezel met de orthogonale kettinggarens. Dit houdt in dat het vulgaren en de kettinggarens aan elkaar gesmolten worden bij elke kruising. Deze versmelting maakt het mogelijk dat het gerede transplantaat onder elke hoek gesneden kan worden zonder dat het garen verschuift, scheidt of rafelt
Rek wordt in het transplantaat ingebouwd door het weven van het weefsel met 25 tot 50% minder steken 10 per centimeter dan in het gerede transplantaat. Tijdens het beëindigende proces, wordt de buis op een vormingsmal 25 tot 50% longitudinaal samengedrukt, en onder warmte uitgehard. Warmte-uitharding op deze manier veroorzaakt dat de kettinggarens plooien en buigen, waardoor rek ingebouwd wordt. Het is deze rek die het mogelijk maakt dat gerede transplantaten longitudinaal buigbaar zijn zonder de noodzaak het oppervlak van het transplantaat te plooien.
15 De stijvere eenvezelige component van het vulgaren kan ieder willekeurig compatibel garen zijn, zoals polyethyleentereftalaat, polyurethaan, polytetrafluoroethyleen of silicoon. Het verschaft mechanische sterkte, dimensionele stabiliteit en radiële stijfheid met veerkracht waf een open lumen voor normale bloedstroom handhaaft en de noodzakelijke scheursterkte verschaft. De meervezelige kettinggarens verschaffen de noodzakelijke textuur en bedekking voor celweefselhechfing en ingroeiing op het uitwendige oppervlak en 20 assisteren in het regelen van de porositeit van het transplantaat. De velouren lussen zijn meervezelige kettinggarens die zich enkel op het uitwendige oppervlak bevinden. In de bevoorkeurde enkelvoudige velourconstructie, bevordert het uitwendige velouroppervlak celweefselhechting en ingroeiing. Het inwendig oppervlak heeft een fijn, laag profiel welke de vorming van gladde, dunne neo-intima bevordert.
De specifieke keuze van meervezelige kettinggarens samen met het stijvere gecombineerde smeltbare 25 garen en eenvezelig vulgaren verschaft een transplantaat met verbeterde knikbestendigheid in een groot bereik van diameters. Aldus, kunnen kleinere buigstralen bereikt worden zonder afsluiting.
Figuur 1 toont het weefpatroon van een geweven vasculair transplantaatsubstraat 11 vervaardigd volgens een bevoorkeurde uitvoeringsvorm van de uitvinding. Substraat 11 is geweven uit een groot aantal van kettinggarens 12 en vulgaren 13. Figuur 2 is een schematische weergave van substraat 11 in doorsnede 30 met een glad inwendig oppervlak 14 en een velour uitwendig oppervlak 16 met lussen 17 van meervezelig garen welke uitsteken van het oppervlak van het transplantaat 19.
Verwijzend naar figuur 1, bevatten kettinggarens 12 grondkettingdraden van meervezelig garen 18. In de getoonde uitvoeringsvorm is het meervezelig garen 18 een eenstrengs 50 denier ongetexturiseerd ongekrompen ongetextureerd (plat) polyethyleen tereftalaat (Teijin) garen (1/50/48) (enkélstreng/50 35 denier/48 vezels) met een 5-z draaiing. De lus of poolcomponent van kettinggarens 12 is een meervezelig garen 19 dat alterneert met iedere draad van de grondkettingdraden 18. In substraat 11, is meervezelig garen 19 een getexturiseerd 2/50/48 (2 strengs/50 denier/48 vezels) met 1.5 s draaiing poyethyleenterefta-laat (Teijin) garen.
Vulgaren 13 is een combinatie van een eenvezelig garencomponent 21 gecombineerd met een smeltbaar 40 siapelgarencomponeni 22 zoals in detail in doorsnede getoond in figuur 3. Smeltbaar garen 22 welke gevormd is uit tweecomponenten stapelvezels 25 heeft een kern 23 van polyester met een bij lage temperatuur smeltbare omhulsel van een copolyesterhars 24 die de kern 23 omgeeft zoals getoond in het vergrote aanzicht in doorsnede van een enkelvoudige vezel 25 in figuur 4. Smeltbaar garen 22 Is 40 c.c. (English Cotton Count) Celbond Type K54, gevormd uit 2 denier/2* stapelvezels met een draai-45 vermenigvuldiger van 4 (ongeveer 25 wendingen per inch) met een omhulselsmeltpunt van 110°C. De yulcomponenten worden voor het weven samengevouwen met of zonder draaien.
Figuur 5 is een aanzicht in perspectief van een buisvormig transplantaat 31 vervaardigd volgens de uitvinding. Transplantaat 31 heeft een glad inwendig oppervlak 32 en een uitwendig verhoogd weefselvelou· roppervlak 33 met een veelheid aan buitenwaarts uitstrekkende lussen 34. Analoog, toont figuur 6 een 50 gevorkt transplantaat 41 met een hoofdlichaamssegment 42 en twee benen 43 en 44. Benen 43 en 44 zijn aan het hoofdlichaam 42 verbonden ter plaatse van de vertakking 46 die in het algemeen versterkt is door een rij van steken 47 om zo goed als mogelijk de aanvangsporositeit van het transplantaat te handhaven. Transplantaat 41 heeft een glad inwendig oppervlak 48 en een uitwendig oppervlak 49 met lussen 51. Zoals duidelijk uit het weefpatroon van figuur 1 volgt, zijn lussen 34 en 51 van transplantaten 31 en 41, respectie-55 velijk gevormd uit meervezelig garen. In substraat 11 zijn de garens 19 getexturiseerde ongekrompen polyestergarens. Na het weven van de substraat 11 in het patroon zoals getoond in figuur 1, worden de buisvormige transplantaten 31 en 41 gesneden, vervolgens gereinigd en gewassen in een heet bad wat 5 194229 resulteert in een krimping of ontspanning in de orde van ongeveer 10 tot 30%. De buizen worden dan „ onderworpen aan een eerste warmte-uithardingsstap door het plaatsen op een rechte mal van een bepaalde maat in een longitudinaal gerekte toestand en in een convectie-oven geplaatst bij 175°C gedurende ongeveer 20 minuten om het transplantaat een ronde toestand te geven en de celbond-garens te versmet-5 ten met de garens die daarmee in contact staan. De transplantaten worden dan onderworpen aan een tweede warmte-uithardingsstap op een mal met dezelfde maat, maar ongeveer 25 tot 50% longitudinaal samengedrukt. Deze twee warmte-uithardingsstap in de samengedrukte toestand bouwt een longidutinale rek en structurele integriteit en knikbestendigheid in zonder de noodzaak om de transplantaatwand te plooien. De transplantaten kunnen tevens in een niet rechte toestand warmte-uitgehard worden om 10 gevormde transplantaten te vormen, zoals een aortische boog, die tijdens implantatie niet gebogen of gevormd hoeft te worden door de chirurg.
Zoals getoond in figuren 5 en 6, worden buisvormig geweven vasculaire transplantaten 31 en 41 vervaardigd volgens de uitvinding niet geplooid om een open lumen te handhaven. Dit is te wijten aan de opname van de relatief stijvere eenvezelige component 21 in vulgaren 13 en het versmelten van twee-15 componentengaren 25 aan orthogonale kettinggarens 12.
De specificaties van de gebruikte garens en substraat 11 worden in het volgende voorbeeld uiteengezet. Dit voorbeeld wordt gegeven ter illustratie en is niet beperkend bedoeld.
Voorbeeld 20 Zeven maten van buisvormige transplantaten werden geweven met de volgende garens in het patroon van figuur 1.
Buisvormige weefconstructie:
Grondpatroon voor roosterstructuun Lancédraadkettingpatroon voor lus of pooloppervlak: 25 Hanepoot (lancédraden op uitwendige oppervlakken, zie figuur 2) alterneert om de draad (zie figuur 1). Garenconstructie:
Grondketting: 1/50/48 (5z) plat ongetexturiseerd ongekrörnpen polyester (Teijin).
Lancédraadketting: 2/50/48 (1.5s) getexturiseerd ongekrompen polyester (Teijin).
Vulling: 127 pm PET enkelvoudige vezel samengewikkeld met 40 c.c. Celbon K-54 30 polyester.
Dichtheidsbeschrijving:
Kettingdraden: 320 draden per inch (40 tanden per inch maal 8 draden per tand).
Inslagen: 44 inslagen per inch per laag (in buisvormige vorm 88 in totaal) ingelegd, 46 35 ontspannen (of loom).
Buisbeschrijving:
Grêge inwendige diameters: 4,3,5,3,6,3,7,3,8,3,9,3 en 10,3 mm
Gerede inwendige diameters: 4,5,6,7,8,9 en 10 mm.

Het velour is gevormd door het weven van elke tweede kettingdraad in een hanepootpatroon, wat toestaat dat de ketting die de lusdraad vormt boven drie inslagen en onder één inslag drijft. De resterende aangrenzende draden vormen een vlak patroon.
Na het weven, werden de enkelvoudige velour transplantaatmaterialen van voorbeeld 1 gesneden, 45 gereinigd op 80°C in water en reinigingsmiddel, en grondig gespoeld, gedroogd, en vervolgens gespoeld in een heetwaterbad van ongeveer 70°C om sporenchemicaliên te verwijderen en gedroogd. De transplantaat-buizen krompen ongeveer 10 tot 20% in lengte.
De buizen werden vervolgens geplaatst op een rechte mal van geschikte maat in een longitudinaal gerekte toestand en warmte uitgehard op 175°C gedurende 20 minuten in een convectie-oven om een 50 ronde vórm te verschaffen en de Celbond-garens te versmelten. De buizen werden vervolgens longitudinaal samengedrukt over 30 tot 40% van de lengte en opnieuw warmte uitgehard op een mal met dezelfde maat bij 175°C gedurende 20 minuten in een convectie-oven. Bij voorkeur, is de samendrukking ongeveer 25-50% in lengte.
De porositeit van de transplantaten werd geschat op lOOOml/min/cm2.
55 De longitudinale buigzaamheid van een buisvormig vasculair transplantaat is een relatieve maat voor het vermogen van het transplantaat om bij een gegeven kracht uit te rekken en wordt uitgedrukt in de procentuele verlenging per kilogram kracht De transplantaten vervaardigd in het voorbeeld werden uitgerekt
Claims (10)
1. Rafelbestendig en zelfdragend geweven synthetisch vasculair transplantaat, bevattende: een buisvormig, weefsel omvattende een substraat dat gevormd is uit een aantal kettinggarens verweven met ten minste één vulgaren, met het kenmerk, dat het substraat een smeltbare component bevat met een lagere smelttemperatuur dan de resterende garens van het substraat óm de stof rafelbestendig te maken na smelten van de component, en waarin het vulgaren een verstevigingscomponent omvat over de lengte van. 30 het weefsel, waarbij de verstevigingscomponent voldoende buigstijfheid heeft om radiale stijfheid met veerkracht aan het weefsel te verschaffen waarbij na warmte-uitharding van het weefsel in een in hoofdzaak open lumenconfiguratie het resulterende transplantaat bestendig tegen samendrukken en zelfdragend is zonder krimpen van het weefsel.
2. Geweven vasculair transplantaat volgens conclusie 1, met het kenmerk, dat de smeltbare component 35 een tweecomponenten vezel is met een bij hoge temperatuur smeltbare kem en een bij lage temperatuur smeltbare polymeren omhulsel.
3. Geweven vasculair transplantaat volgens conclusie 1 of 2, met het kenmerk, dat de smeltbare component en de verstevigingscomponent samengewikkeld zijn.
4. Geweven vasculair transplantaat volgens één der voorgaande conclusies, met het kenmerk, dat de 40 verstevigingscomponent een eenvezelig garen is, en waarin het warmteuitharden van het weefsel in de in hoofdzaak open lumenconfiguratie het eenvezelige garen doet hard worden in een gestabiliseerde circulaire geometrie die het weefsel ondersteunt in de in hoofdzaak open lumenconfiguratie.
5. Geweven vasculair transplantaat volgens één der voorgaande conclusies, met het kenmerk, dat de smeltbare component smelt tussen ongeveer 110 en 230°C.
6. Geweven vasculair transplantaat volgens conclusie 5, met het kenmerk, dat de smeltbare component geselecteerd wordt uit de groep bestaande uit copolyester, polyethyleen, geactiveerd copolyethyleen, copolyolefine en polyurethaanharsen.
7. Geweven vasculair transplantaat volgens één der voorgaande conclusies, met het kenmerk, dat het substraat verder een aantal lussen van meervezelige stapelkettinggarens heeft om ten minste één velours 50 oppervlaktevormen.
8. Geweven vasculair transplantaat volgens conclusie 7, met het kenmerk, dat de stapelkettinggarens tussen elk kettinggaren alterneren.
9. Geweven vasculair transplantaat volgens conclusie 7 of 8, met het kenmerk, dat het substraat een uitwendig oppervlak met lussen en een glad inwendig oppervlak bevat, waarbij de lussen op het uitwendige 55 oppervlak gevormd zijn van kettinggarens van gevlochten meervezelig garen.
10. Geweven vasculair transplantaat volgens één der voorgaande conclusies, met het kenmerk, dat het 7 194229 weefsel verwarmd is om de smeltbare componenten te verbinden met naburig garens, en waarin de , kettinggarens van het resulterende transplantaat longitudinaal meegevend zijn waardoor het resulterende transplantaat rekbaar en knikbestendig wordt Hierbij 1 blad tekening
