Abstract

Se describe un procedimiento para la produccion de eteres, tipicamente tetrahidrofurano, mediante la reaccion de un material de alimentacion organico correspondiente seleccionado de acidos y/o anhidridos dicarboxilicos, monoesteres de acidos y/o anhidridos dicarboxilicos, diesteres de acidos y/o anhidridos dicarboxilicos, lactonas y mezclas de dos o mas de los mismos, en la presencia de hidrogeno, el cual comprende los pasos de: (a) suministrar una corriente que comprende el material de alimentacion organico a una primera zona de vaporizacion, y contactar dicha alimentacion con gas del ciclo que comprende hidrogeno de tal modo que al menos una porcion del material de alimentacion sea vaporizada mediante y dentro del gas del ciclo; (b) suministrar por lo menos una porcion del gas del ciclo y el material de alimentacion vaporizado a una primera zona de reaccion que comprende catalizador y operar bajo condiciones de reaccion para permitir que ocurra la hidrogenacion y la deshidratacion; (c) recuperar de la primera zona de reaccion una corriente de producto intermedio que comprende material de alimentacion sin reaccionar, gas del ciclo, producto(s) deseado(s) y cualesquiera coproductos y subproductos; (d) suministrar la corriente de producto intermedio a una segunda zona de vaporizacion y contactarla con material de alimentacion adicional, de tal modo que dicho material de alimentacion adicional sea vaporizado mediante y dentro de la corriente de producto intermedio; (e) suministrar el producto del paso (d) a una zona de reaccion subsecuente que comprende catalizador y operar bajo condiciones de reaccion para permitir que ocurra la hidrogenacion y, si se requiere, la deshidratacion; y (f) recuperar de la zona de reaccion subsecuente una corriente de producto que comprende el eter.
