Abstract

Se describe una espuma rigida excelente en resistencia a la compresion, estabilidad dimensional, pirorretardancia y adhesion. Metodo de solucion: Un metodo de preparacion de una espuma de poliisocianurato modificado por poliuretano, que comprende hacer reaccionar un compuesto de hidrogeno activo que tiene por lo menos dos funcionalidades con un compuesto de poliisocianato en presencia de un catalizador y un agente de soplado que comprende ya sea agua sola o una mezcla de agua y un compuesto de bajo punto de ebullicion, en donde (1) el compuesto de poliisocianato es un prepolfmero obtenido al hacer reaccionar un MDI polimerico con (5) a (30)% en peso, en base al MDI polimerico de un polieter poliol y/o poliester poliol que tiene un valor de hidroxi de a lo mas (100) mg KOH/g y (2) el numero de grupos isocianato en el compuesto de poliisocianato es por lo menos (1.5) veces en mol tan grande como el numero de atomos de hidrogeno activos en el compuesto de hidrogeno activo y agua.
