Abstract

Granulados basados en dioxido de silicio, con las siguientes características: Tamaño medio de las pa00 m2/g; Volumen de Poros: de 0,5 a 2,5 ml/g; Distribucion del tamaño de los poros: menos del 5% del volumen total de los poros, consiste en poros con un diámetro inferior a 5 mm; el resto consiste en mesoporos y macroporos. Valor de pH de 3,6 a 8,5; Densidad apisonada: de 220 a 700 g/l. Dichos granulados son preparados dispersando dioxido de silicio de agua; secándolos por pulverizacion, y eventualmente se les somete a un tratamiento térmico y se les silaniza. Los granados son utilizados como vehículos para catalizadores.
