Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una clase de composiciones de copolímero de polipropileno de impacto (ICP) que exhiben la ventajosa combinación de excelente comportamiento de formación de rayas de tigre (marcas de flujo) en piezas moldeadas grandes/largas, muy bajo recuento de geles y excepcional fluidez en el-molde (alto MFR), a pesar de la alta razón de viscosidades (por ejemplo, > 4) entre las fases de caucho y de matriz a base de propileno; además, se ha encontrado sorprendentemente que las composiciones inventivas están asociadas con un bajo recuento de geles aun cuando se use un tamiz de malla de alambre bastante gruesa, por ejemplo, un tamiz de malla de alambre 60, independiente del tipo de tornillos, por ejemplo un solo tornillo o doble tornillo; finalmente, las composiciones inventivas exhiben niveles significativamente reducidos de compuestos volátiles y excelente equilibrio de rigidez-impacto cuando se usan como materiales independientes o en compuestos rellenados; el número significativamente reducido de geles grandes lleva a excelente aspecto superficial y pintabilidad de las piezas moldeadas; la composición de la presente invención se fabrica con un proceso en un reactor a granel/gas (o sea, un proceso que no es en lechada/no es en solvente) que tiene la ventaja de simplicidad del proceso, eficiencia del proceso y simplicidad de la estructura de la composición, con respecto a la complejidad en la estructura y proceso de fabricación de las composiciones en el arte previo.
