Abstract

Se proporcionan composiciones de resma de polipropileno que son útiles en la producción de películas de polipropileno biaxialmente orientadas (BOPP); las resinas de la presente invención son mezclas de homopolímero de polipropileno cristalino superior (soluble inferior) y un copolímero aleatorio de etileno/propileno; estas mezclas se pueden usar para reemplazar homopolímeros de polipropileno de grado BOPP solubles superiores estándares; adicionalmente, el uso de homopolímeros de polipropileno cristalino superior en las mezclas imparte mejor rigidez a las películas terminadas y mantienen un buen procesamiento de las mezclas.
