Abstract
La invención se relaciona con una composición de polipropileno reforzado con fibras de bambú comprendiendo por lo menos 50% por peso de un copolímero de propileno heterofásico; desde 2 hasta 40% por peso de fibras de bambú; desde 0.1 hasta 10% por peso de un agente de acoplamiento; dicha composición mostrando un índice de fluidez de fusión que es por lo menos 5 g/10 mm a 190°C bajo una carga de 2.16 Kg de acuerdo con ISO 1133, condición L; una densidad que está en el intervalo de 0.900 y 1.010 g/cm3 de acuerdo con ISO 1183; un módulo de flexión que está en el intervalo de 1100 MPa y 4000 MPa de acuerdo con ISO 178. La invención también se relaciona con un método para preparar tal composición así como artículos producidos mediante dicha composición.
