Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a ratones que tienen un locus de cadena pesada de inmunoglobulina restringido, en donde el locus está caracterizado por un segmento del gen VH humano polimórfico único, una pluralidad de segmentos del gen DH humano y una pluralidad de segmentos del gen JH. Se describen métodos para elaborar secuencias de anticuerpo que se unen a un antígeno (por ejemplo, un antígeno viral), que comprende inmunizar a los ratones con un antígeno de interés, en donde el ratón comprende un segmento del gen VH humano único, segmentos del gen DH humano y una pluralidad de segmentos del gen JH, en el locus de cadena pesada de inmunoglobulina endógena.
