Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a células huésped de levadura recombinante y métodos para usar para la producción de isobutanol. Las células huésped de levadura proporcionadas comprenden una ruta biosintética de isobutanol y por lo menos una actividad de aldehído deshidrogenasa reducida o eliminada, actividad de acetolactato reductasa reducida o eliminada; o un polinucleótido heterólogo que codifica un polipéptido que tiene actividad de cetol-ácido reductoisomerasa.
