Abstract
Se describe un proceso para la deshidrocloración de 1,1,1,3-tetracloropropano que comprende poner en contacto 1,1,1,3-tetracloropropano en fase vapor en una zona de reacción con un catalizador que comprende fierro, para producir una mezcla del producto que comprende 1,1,3-tricloro-1-propeno; y recuperar el 1,1,3-tricloro-1-propeno de la mezcla del producto producida. También se describe un proceso para la deshidrocloración de 1,1,1,3-tetracloropropano que comprende calentar 1,1,1,3-tetracloropropano en fase liquida para producir una mezcla que comprende 1,1,3-tricloro-1-propeno, enfriar la mezcla, separar el cloruro de hidrógeno de la mezcla y recuperar 1,1,3-tricloro-1-propeno.
