Abstract
Un acoplamiento giratorio (10) incluye un rotor (34) configurado para rotación alrededor de un eje de rotación (36). El rotor (34) incluye un cubo (38) dispuesto alrededor del eje (36) y configurado para recibir un árbol (12) y un disco (40) que se extiende radialmente hacia afuera desde el cubo (38). Una armadura (26) y electroimán (24) se disponen sobre lados axiales opuestos del disco (40). El electroimán (24) está fijado contra rotación.
