Abstract

Un acoplamiento giratorio (10) incluye un rotor (34) configurado para rotación alrededor de un eje de rotación (36). El rotor (34) incluye un cubo (38) dispuesto alrededor del eje (36) y configurado para recibir un árbol (12) y un disco (40) que se extiende radialmente hacia afuera desde el cubo (38). Se soporta un escudo 20 (34) por el separador (16) y se extiende radialmente hacia afuera desde ahí de manera que una porción del escudo (34) esté axialmente alineada con el espacio de aire (48).
