Abstract
Composiciones poliméricas reticulables para usar en, por ejemplo, capas aislantes de cables, comprenden un polímero a base de etileno, un peróxido orgánico, un coagente de reticulación y un barredor de radicales metilo que comprende al menos un derivado de 2,2,6,6,- tetrametil-1-piperidiniloxilo ("TEMPO"), en donde la relación del coagente de reticulación con respecto al peróxido orgánico es inferior a 1.72:1 sobre una base molar. También se describe un artículo reticulado preparado de una composición polimérica reticulable, en donde la composición polimérica reticulable comprende, entre otros, un barredor de radicales metilo que comprende al menos un derivado de TEMPO. Además, se describe un conductor recubierto que comprende un núcleo conductor y una capa polimérica que rodea al menos en parte el núcleo conductor, en donde al menos una porción de la capa polimérica comprende el articulo reticulado.
